Ok guys...today is my 3rd day having braces,i got mine from ss2 dr low(next to affin bank) traditional metal braces is 4k...consider reasonable for me...coz he got experienced n he is a orthodontist not normal dentist...
I got to know from my fren who is a dentist,it require special course n skills to do braces, therefore u might found some dentist is offering a lower price compare to orthodontist, but they r not certifies to do braces...therefore for my safety n perfect smile...i opt for a certified orthodontist...so it is up to u n it gonna b ur whole life thingy...
Hmmm...abo how i feel for d braces,so far i dont feel any pain, just cant bite hard stuff...
N i heard dr low said...damon braces is just a few mths faster than normal ones...but it will cost u 2-3k more...jialat...

Ask if it's Damon braces, if it is.. then it's the price. If it's the normal one, then it's overpriced.,

Don't u need a head brace for that?
There is one doctor at genting klang there.. apparently he's quite good but his character is very cuckoo one.. *angin fellar*
It's at the shoplot at SenHeng there.. U can try.

Well, i just listen to BFM today and there is an interview with one othodontic who have shed some light over the uses of braces.

there are actually 2 kind of braces :
1. metallic braces or non metallic braces( Braces in front of the teeth)
2. Invincible braces--Braces behind the teeth ( for those who are conscious about the use of metallic braces)

well, i am not sure about the prices and the qualities of whichever kind braces being used. but it takes years of time to take off the braces.
hmm... it sound so inconvienced sometimes to eat , brush etc...=/

which is more better? Gov over private clinics? for cost wise, i guess gov would be better. =)

Depends on your teeth, but the possibility of removing teeth is much lower than the normal braces method.

What IS the difference between normal and Damon braces? Why is it not needed to remove the teeth if you wear Damon braces?

I'm planning to get braces too,but it's quite expensive, private dentists.Do you guys think that govt dentists are fully qualified and good enough to do the braces?
