My activities at the dentist prior to the braces installation:-

First visit
- Check on the teeth conditions
- Get the xray done and examine the xray for any needed teeth extraction

Second visit
- Get the teeth extraction done, if any. Wait to heal

Third visit
- Check on the teeth conditions again
- Get the mould done
- Consultation on braces requirements
- Dentist check on braces stock/make braces order via vendor

Fourth visit
- Braces installation.

The duration varies depending on yr dentist availability/surgery date appointment/healing period/braces order delivery

would like to check for the orthodontics in Penang.

Dr. Looi's price is around RM4k++ while Prestige Dr Chay's price is RM6k++ (non-damon).

any idea regarding Dr Chay's price is higher?

I'm not sure which doctor I should go for.
Previously I went to both clinics for consultation and I feel Dr Chay's service is more comfortable but the price is quite high.

Thank you.

Waaah 6k for non Damon are you sure? Then Damon how much??? Braces price is getting ridiculous

You can try whitesmile orthodontic clinic at Berjaya Times Square. Dr Reuben did my braces and i am wearing retainers. I don't think the braces matters so much it all depends on the orthodontist laaaa. He is doing invisible braces for my sister (the braces put behind not in front of the teeth). Last time i did mine price is RM 5400. Not painful because he put the braces part by part. Very gentle and professional orthodontist

Wow bro invisible braces. Can give more info about this, so there is nothing on the front at all?? Will this take longer or everything the same just they put it at the back of teeth? Sifus pls answer bcs if this is same like normal braces I will going to a orthodontist asap smile.gif

Dr Reuben is nice.... gentlemen... I think he travels alot to aussie though...

'invinsible' braces is actually lingual braces... very much more expensive as it's not easy to place it and make adjustments... generally cost RM10k and above...
*
Omg 10k and above, what a turn off just when I had my hopes up. Can Aprilcoco please tell us how much did they charge his sister?

AjiAjo: Nope, it's for normal braces.

DrBarbarian: Dr Tan Ching Ching? Yeap she was very nice, but price was ever slightly higher than the one at T Low so in the end I opted for T Low since I am pretty comfortable with the orthodontist there as well.

shocking.gif WAah normal braces already rm5800 ah? Do you happen to know how much he charges for Damon & the invisible type???

Lingual braces costs 10k upwards. He has a price list in his clinic. You can go have a look.

Mine's the normal metal type costing RM5800. So far I have already had my braces on for almost a week. I must be really lucky since there is no pain and no canker sores so far. Teeth is tender when pressure is applied so I am on a soft food diet.

Omai...Then how much he charges for Damian braces???
