2 years is not fast.....

My experience with braces is a pleasant one. When I was in form 2, I had braces done, its called the Damon brand. Only need 1 tooth to be extracted, unlike my friends who need 2/3/4. After injection, no pain, and felt nothing! So fast the tooth extract already.

After putting on my braces for 1st time, then the pain comes. Cannot bite, LITERALLY! Even upper teeth hit lower teeth will be painful 

But that pain last only for 1 week, so ok la, after a week, I can eat like normal. Except cannot bite hard stuff.

Every month gotta go visit the dentist for tightening. Many people say its a hell-ish experience, but for me nope... Not pain also? After tighten a bit pain, but I can still eat like normal also.

And Damon braces result damn fast, Form 2 put on, Form 4 end year take off. so only 2 years!! and my teeth is straight as ruler until today. I am 18 now.   

Hope my experience helped alot of you facing dilemma. Different people will face different experience. So this is mine. Indeed i actually MISS having braces than I am without them.....

Installed my braces yesterday at whitesmile berjaya times square. the process is really painless! except the fluid (used for washing?) kinda entered my throat and the taste is really not nice

anyway, i couldnt bite properly cuz when i try to fully bite, my left upper molar tooth will hit the bottom bracket. so i cannot bite fully/chew at all! is this normal?

Hi how much did it cost you for the whole process? How is your treatment progressing?

Can I know which clinic you did your braces? Is it around the KL area? Cos I think the ortho or dentist is very important too when it comes to braces.

ceramic or plastic..... could be removable too....

gonna put on braces soon. 22 this year, feels like a little too old for that =.=

I did mine in government clinic, costed me RM700. I have another friend who did it in private clinic, costed her another additional 0. (RM7000)

The good thing about private clinic is that you can choose your appointment time. In government clinic, you have to follow their time. You have to take leave just to go to them and wait for 1~2 hours and finish after 5 minutes of checking....sometimes only haha.

Yes kena charge. my place one bracket they charge a few hundred as penalty
you can tahan then extract 4... otherwise recommend you to extract 2 by 2 otherwise you cannot eat 1 week. eat porridge also you will cry. use tongue and swallow only

side note: still got place doing rm2.7k and its private no need queue 

Never knew about this that after having braces off have to wear retainers for a period of time abd after that need to wear every night for 24/7? True or fake? What ever the case may be, I always thought that once the braces are off and that's it! Straight forever! "less teeth educated"
