The Action Base Stand is able to fit any MG series gundam smile.gif Coz the 'holder' can b calibrated to fit the size of the 'crotch' of the gundams n MS nod.gif

U dun need Bandai tools to assemble Bandai stuff, if u do, then u sure pokai very fast.
Starters like u can juz get a Hobby knife or simple blade is good enuf. The hobby knife can b obtain from supermarker like Jusco to those bookstore like Popular, MPH....
A nail clipper/pliers (i.e. cutter - sharp pointed 1) will b helpful for you the remove the parts from the runner (i.e. the plastic frame holding the parts).
The Marker is useful for minimal painting, if u dun paint those MG oso quite nice, juz need to do panel lining...get urself one Panel Lining marker smile.gif most Local hobby store will hv it.

From then on, u will learn n then only u start to consider getting other tools.

Welcome to one of the most money sucking hobby laugh.gif

Welcome welcome... guess another fella got his legs stuck in the quicksands of gunpla modelling... Expect your wallet to go empty very soon, unless you have a very strong will to resist temptation ;lol:

RM110 is considerably "ok" lah for an 2600yen kit. It is overpriced, no doubt, but at least you didn't get ripped by Litt Takk's prices which probably go up to RM 159 tongue.gif And to think that 3500 yen MGs go up to RM249 shocking.gif

To check the actual price of the model the next time you see one at shops, look for the barcode. There should be a line of numbers above the barcode, and the last 4 numbers would be the price in yen. Take the yen, divide it with 33 and you get the rough RM equivalent. Divide by 30 is easier for quick reference biggrin.gif

As Fasap mentioned, it is a "ritual" for everyone to get ripped in the beginning, I overpaid for all of mine. It is only after you realise the actual price of the gunplas that you can go out to Jusco or Parkson and snicker at the exaggerated price tags with cynicism. sweat.gif

For me, building the model is the best part... after completing it, somehow I don't enjoy the model as much as I did when I was building it biggrin.gif

Happy modelling !!!

haha... yet another fella got trapped biggrin.gif

Thanks for the warm welcome StarGhazzer and Ah WanG. Well .. i decided to start this hobby while I was playing the Gundam War TCG and spend a week watching Gundam Seed and Seed Destiny and then I was hook, told myself I must get one of those models.

Then i started thinking about the assemble and painting cause at that time my mind was thinking that all model kits have to be painted and glued together. Thats why I decided to buy pre-fix models or buy a model kit and pay someone to assemble for me. But I heard from Edison, that all Gundam model kits comes with color already and that really solve some of my problems liao.

The next step is to get a proper tools but I have no worries liao, thanks to kingkong and ah wang for the information.

I know most surely im going to burn a hole in my wallet but I really dun mind, cause im going to luv every moment of it. Currently, im just waiting for my Infinite Justice Gundam model .. yeah rclxm9.gif

Thanks to everyone.

ok, hope i right about tis, PG is bigger than MG wif more detail than MG, that why itway more expensive than other Grade. For how many grade there is, i try to list out.

Non grade, High Grade(got in 1/144 and 1/100), Master Grade, Perfect Grade, and there a bigger grade, dont remember the name but the Gundam is HUGE. But if u want to buy 1/144 HG, nv buy the seed and destiny series, not that well make by bandai(some are still great), Better go buy HGUC 1/144
