Hmm...maybe we should recommend to Pak Lah to subsidize all model kits since it could promote inter-racial understanding and prosperity..... thumbup.gif  thumbup.gif  thumbup.gif

Topcoats selling at RM30 at Time Machine. hmm recently i bought a Gundam Fix Figuration #0011, turns out one part was missing from the packaging, which was the back panel with the important holes for attaching the backpack sleep.gif took me hours of modding the back to finally fit it in. oh by the way for some reason some of the parts' fittings sucked too. like they had been kept in the sun for awhile =/

Guys i'm done building my MG SFFB Kit. Below are the pictures. However would like to ask experts over here, would it be better to put on the decals before applying top coat or top coat before the decals?

if the surface is smooth or unpainted, then apply decal first and then topcoat

if surface is rough, apply gloss topcoat, then decal, then another layer of topoat

Hi Asuk, thanks for the fast reply. In the case of my current MGSF, i have painted the kit and its a smooth surface. So is it safe to say i can apply the decal and spray topcoat after that?

yes, that is correct. looking forward to the finished article. i suggest making more dynamic poses. refer to mags or modellers sites for inspiration and fiddle with your camera more

Finally decalled the C1, needs some work on the BSG. Which topcoat will be a better idea, since I'll leave it unpainted?

better still try to test first on the left over runner with some of the extra decal..as topcoat sometimes can damage decal.
