Bought from a photographer with RM550, very pristine since used twice ~
As i know, common price RM690 in malaysia. Cheapest should be japan RM480, will RM580 if u get forwarding agent service.

Really nice lens, love its sharpness =w=

i have tested a5000, i found it worst than the old NEX-5N. 5T have best value for money, while you still can add accessory for advanced photography.
a5100 significantly improved over a5000 on usability and performance.
save up more for a5100 or best a6000.
this is my personal advice. wink.gif

tq! will hold up for the 5100, hopefully price will drop a bit more. the a6000 is a big for my liking

The alphanetics one issit? I missed my Japan purchase chance already as my friend couldn't find any Black units (a surprisingly common problem with Sigma lenses in E-mount in shops over there), maybe wait later if I get a chance to go over as I malas wanna setup forwarding.

But yeah, nice shallow DOF and good sharpness. Are those samples shot wide open?

And the A5k of course cannot compare to the NEX5. Despite the "5" in its name, the A5k is the replacement for the NEX3 rite?

Yup, bought in alphanetics ~

Yeah, all at 2.8 =w=

i think a5k is setting between nex 3 and 5, and a6000 is setting between nex 6 and 7.

p/s : example of f11

Noob question here, is there a way to view the battery level on the f43 flash? I read the manual but it just stated it will only pop out the symbol when battery is low, which is highly inconvenient

Unfortunately, you'll have to rely on a very old-school method:

1) switch to manual power, 1/1 power
2) wait for orange light to come on
3) press the TEST button
4) wait for the orange light to come on again

It should take 3-4 seconds on fresh AA batteries, on pretty much every flash since the HVL-F42AM onwards.

a little good thing about NIMH is the behavior. unlike akaline battery has a steady drop in voltage that you can feel the cycle time drops slower and slower... the NiMH (most LCD rechargable) are design to retain 1.2v until the last 10% where it will drastically drop in voltage, which affect cycle time drastically too. so when you notice it take about 6-8 sec to cycle, its very well under 10%(or ~20%).

the graph is from eneloop website, but its not 100% representation, but it works something like this... you can google many graphs similar to it.
