Do you guys get a photo printer and print those photos? like your children...family... those photo that worth to print and DIY a frame and stick those in?? feel like doing that.... jjust dont know what printer to get...

For photos it's normally a toss up between Epson and Canon inkjets. The mid range above should be "okay" for photo printing though for "pro" level color rendition you of course need to shell out more, like the Epson 6-tank ink jet.

Personally I just print a select few of my pics so I just send them up to a photo printer, either Color Dot Com in Uptown or Esix in Pudu Plaza.

If you have a Canon or HP at home you might want to grab some photo paper and try printing using those. The quality is good enough, at least for me wink.gif

Depends on what it needs to repair on ~ if only motor problem, it may cost 1~200

u can consider to buy a new one /2nd unit , if not wrongly, few in forum about 3~400 for new one.

anyone aware that HVL-F42AM got fully manual flash mode which only be trigger when you press certain key combination? accidentally bump into it when i am looking for wireless flash trigger in ebay. I am not able to trigger it using my wireless flash trigger if i didnt set it into full manual mode. This flash trigger is one of the super cheap universal trigger that only work in manual mode.

Give a try here:
- mount flash onto camera and set to M mode on camera
- press HSS on flash for 3 sec
- set power to 1/2
- press HSS again.
- now it is in manual mode. you can detach it and put on wireless flash trigger for testing.
This "manual mode" will reset once you off the flash..

as far as i'm concerned, selecting the power output ratio manually instead of leaving it on AUTO is already means manual mode.

or is there a different 'manual mode' we're talking about here?

Just set the power to 1/2 and you can already trigger it what. It's just a matter of shorting the two rear pins.

Also, why not just use the normal pop-up flash to trigger, or a Sony flash on body?

Whattt... realy?! I thought SEL1855 is a zoom lens! rclxub.gif  laugh.gif
I would really prefer the Sony lens, probably can save up a little more for it, hmm...
High ISO means more noise, no? Wow, pictures look great. Probably the lack of OSS can help to train a pair of stable hands, hehe.

Can apply noise reduction in post process if you'd like.

Cost cutting and cost saving more than anything. They believe online Sony store will be the future.

In TV and phone not so well. Camera, play station, video recording, Bluetooth speaker and headphones are doing well.
