Seems to me u're having quite some issues with ur phone. First the battery and now bluetooth? Tough luck man
*
What a luck to begin 2015. Not sure will they claim a new one for me tho. Later gonna go and ask. I show Apple support about the battery doctor stats compared with the one Apple website shows, they also ask me refer to authorized reseller. Sigh

My 6 Plus detects Bluetooth devices fine but doesn't connect automatically to my car player unlike most of the Androids I owned before. Quite annoying coz I usually get into the car, turn on the phone Bluetooth and it will connect automatically. Need an additional step with this one...
*
My Bluetooth can't even detect anything nearby, and my gf's sis said iPhone Bluetooth only connect iPhone. I was like lol. My 6 plus keep scanning devices but can't get any. When pairing it from my android the connection unsuccessful. I already done a restore through iTunes. Yet still the same. Kinda disappointed with my first Apple product.

After you tap and hold any icon, the apps wiggle, and the X lets you delete them. Deleting apps on an iOS device is simple: Just tap and hold any app icon until all the icons start wiggling. You'll notice that many, if not most of them, have a little X at the top left corner.

I think he was referring to those apps that preinstalled when you bought the iPhone. Those cannot be deleted, not sure if JB will help.
I know Android will need to root to remove those bloatware.

Just got my iPhone 6 plus replacement yesterday. I'm a happy customer biggrin.gif. My friend was there and I told her it looks brand new. Since the phone just got released in the market there's a high chance that the replacement set isn't refurbished and it might be brand new. But the customer service rep there insisted that it's a refurbished set. He doesn't have to say such thing to burst my bubble yea stupid I know. I'll stay optimistic and think of it as a new phone. Now using it with a cheapo tempered glass I bought off eBay and a black Spigen ultra hybrid. The color contrast makes my gold iPhone looks damn good I tell you

Apple Refurbished sets are of very high quality usually. Just think about it for a second - brand new iPhones roll off the production line in huge numbers each day, so it's not like the QC staff will be able to inspect every aspect of every single phone. Refurbished models, on the other hand, are usually hand inspected and tested before shipment.

Yes they are refurbished units. Even I bought from Apple store and claim warranty within 3 weeks, also refurbished.
Good news as g17 suggested, refurbished units have way better qc. All the exterior casing is new. They only replace faulty internal components, hence refurbished.
Ironically, I will have higher confidence using refurbished than those qc direct from factory. Imagine my 'brand new' unit b4 warranty claim battery is just held by a double sided tape inside the casing. Really wtf.

You have to change to Ipad Air 2 to achieve the above results. tongue.gif

The is no doubt that replacement sets are "Seed" units.

Seed units are defined as

"A service unit which has been assembled using the same manufacturing process as a new unit with new parts and parts that have been tested to be equivalent to new in reliablity and performance. The assembled units looks cosmetically new."

Do take note that "Seed" units are actually used sets reconditioned and repaired. nod.gif

Actually my iPad Air has been underutilized since I got my 6 Plus. Might be thinking of swapping it for something else soon biggrin.gif

Very subjective. Depends on what you use your phone for and how long you intend to use it.

Well, my previous iPhone 5 was also a refurbished set and yet it worked like it's brand new. So put your worries aside and we can safely assume your 6+ is functioning as a new phone as well! rclxms.gif

Very true, and now I know why my sister-in-law said that her refurbished iPhone 5 (that was the phone I bought from her, back in March last year) is of very good quality. And even better than buying the phone "off the rack", based on what you said above, G-17! thumbup.gif

What are you going to use your phone for?

If you intend to install a large number of songs from your PC's playlist, take a lot of photos, as well as download some good games that make use of the bigger screen (Asphalt 8, Real Racing 3, and FIFA take up tons of memory space), I can safely say that 16GB may not be sufficient, unfortunately!

Hope you get a replacement unit or something. Sometimes these things happen, all depends on luck. A friend of mine bought a car and it had all sorts of issues even in the first month... And you don't get a one to one exchange for cars!

Yea I hope so going to the machines in KLCC soon. But chances of one to one exchange in Malaysia not very convincing. Haha. Weird is mine was telco set and they asked me take to machines I wonder why.
