QUOTE(KTCY @ Jan 18 2015, 01:39 AM) Yes, can. Bought 5 units before on different occasions and card was charged immediately. It will be posted to your unbilled transactions only on the day your phone is delivered but transaction date is on the day you purchase your phone. So, you will get your rebate. |

Wow, looks like American Express is jumping on the bandwagon as well, having been left behind by VISA and MasterCard all this while! But seriously, how many of us are actually using Amex cards today?
Although the RM50.00 rebate is quite eye-watering, I must say! This post has been edited by THTgadgets.com: Jan 18 2015, 08:36 AM |

But seriously, how many of us are actually using Amex cards today? Actually AmEx has been offering cash back for quite a while. Before the launching of the dual card, they have done the RM1.5M cash back a few years back. Amex is my everyday card as long as merchants accepts it. Plus aside from the cash back, you get 5x treats points as well.Although the RM50.00 rebate is quite eye-watering, I must say! Most of my big purchases are done via Amex, and the points can be converted into vouchers. |

Apple Store didn't accept AmEx earlier, I think only started last year or something.Although the RM50.00 rebate is quite eye-watering, I must say! Yes, at least a discount and every RM 1 spent = 5 points. Can change to vouchers and one of the participating outlets is Epicentre. That's the reason I kept waiting for either Epicenter or senQ to restock as I can exchange my points for an iPhone 6 Plus. I will only pay around 2.3k for an iPhone 6 Plus 64GB. Sadly after two months of waiting, now I don't even bother to check out the status anymore. No intention to buy after waiting for so long. Will wait for next generation. |

QUOTE(amirsnake @ Jan 17 2015, 10:53 PM) Actually almost same . Android will have additional file to download for big app etc games. iPhone usually pack everything under the app so when you download it usually no further download except for DLC inside app. |

hi there. new iphone user here.
there are a few problems for my i6+ and i need to seek help from you guys. anyone of you experienced WIFI automatically switched off while your phone is on the sleep mode, and reconnect back after you woke your phone? i have tried to switch either ON or OFF my cellular connection, but problem still exist. second, the battery usage time is increasing during sleep mode. this is the time where it's supposed to be increased when i turn my phone on and use it, not the standby time. the battery consumption during sleep is same as during awake. i have no idea what caused this, even if disabled background app refresh. third, i can't receive notification from an app that is not launched for a long time. this happened on my wechat. it runs fine after i launched it. |

QUOTE(Manlet @ Jan 18 2015, 12:05 PM) anyone realized whatsapp drained the hell out of your battery ? If you keep receiving chat messages especially group chat messages, and the notifications always trigger the notification sounds and power on the scree, its going to drain the battery. Try to turn group message notifications and you will see group and you will notice the difference.like almost 30% of the usage is from whatsapp even i seldom open it, i just check it like a 3 times an hour. with my old android phone whatsapp only takes about 10% off battery usage QUOTE(skeletonboi @ Jan 18 2015, 01:27 PM) hi there. new iphone user here. Somehow, after the iphone if left idle too long with wifi connected, it will go into deep sleep and disconnects the wifi. Im not too sure if this is a bug or this is a function to save battery but it has been happening to me since iphone 5.there are a few problems for my i6+ and i need to seek help from you guys. anyone of you experienced WIFI automatically switched off while your phone is on the sleep mode, and reconnect back after you woke your phone? i have tried to switch either ON or OFF my cellular connection, but problem still exist. second, the battery usage time is increasing during sleep mode. this is the time where it's supposed to be increased when i turn my phone on and use it, not the standby time. the battery consumption during sleep is same as during awake. i have no idea what caused this, even if disabled background app refresh. third, i can't receive notification from an app that is not launched for a long time. this happened on my wechat. it runs fine after i launched it. |

QUOTE(skeletonboi @ Jan 18 2015, 01:27 PM) hi there. new iphone user here. Yep. It's a function since long time ago. After a while of sleeping, it'll disconnect the WiFi, but it immediately connects back once you wake it up.there are a few problems for my i6+ and i need to seek help from you guys. anyone of you experienced WIFI automatically switched off while your phone is on the sleep mode, and reconnect back after you woke your phone? i have tried to switch either ON or OFF my cellular connection, but problem still exist. second, the battery usage time is increasing during sleep mode. this is the time where it's supposed to be increased when i turn my phone on and use it, not the standby time. the battery consumption during sleep is same as during awake. i have no idea what caused this, even if disabled background app refresh. third, i can't receive notification from an app that is not launched for a long time. this happened on my wechat. it runs fine after i launched it. Have the same problem with WeChat. So i'm not sure if it's a function or bug or what. When your most recent app is running and you put it to sleep, it'll increase the usage time even if it's sleeping. |
