I think don't bother. Many cars have its own sound, it will come and go. Even aeroplane also a lot of creaking and rattling sound.

U have to know exactly which part that producr that sound, only start to work it out. in some cases, they just make the thing more worst.

Really hope it will gone by itself coz its actually quite annoying.

Hmm it should be around the dashboard area..but Nvm I think I will just wait for some time to see whether it will gone by itself

Contrary to some comments to disregard the sound, personally if it is annoying enough to you then I would think it is prudent to go to the SC to have the sound eliminated. Especially if your car is new and is just 3 years old, there shouldn't be any annoying rattling sound inside the car.

Throughout my 2 years of ownership, there isn't any annoying sound from the dashboard. But there is sound from the back seat in my car when it was new, in which the sound automatically goes away after several weeks. For your case, you may want to wait for a week or two to see whether the sound goes away. Sometimes it will go away, sometimes it will not. It depends on a lot on the rattling sound, whether it is loud or annoying enough to affect your everyday driving. From your post it seems that the sound is quite annoying to you, hence I suppose you should get it sorted out.

which side of dashboard? if is passenger side, check the clip behind the wood trim, you can touch it from glovebox, metal clip loose will produce rattle sound.
if center, first check your rear view mirror first, hold it when sound appear, see if it will gone.
if driver side, try press top of odometer or aircond vent or start button panel there.
try not pull the dash away first. see where the sound came from. once you pull it away, u got to have a lot of work to put it back nicely.

vt3+ just reduce the sound, it doesnt complete gone.

For u guys who has the new 2015 type HU, can kindly provide a brief review ?

Old HU is all right, just the screen is damn tiny for my eyes. Please disregard GPS, it is close to useless.

so far the only sound in my car is this dashboard rattle sound,other than this no other sound..lets wait and see whether it will gone before my 1k service.

the sound is from the driver side above the meter area, tried to pressed everywhere above it just now but no luck, and today the problem is worse than yesterday, now whenever i go through 60kmph above the sound will randomly appear.
the new HU is okay for me..everything works well..GPS is quite fast screen size is reasonable big from driver's side view,so far only problem is that the brightness doesnt have an auto mode so now everytime i have to set it to night mode at night or bright mode during the day or else it is too bright at night but too dark at day time.

BTW, just now my driver side windows failed to roll up automatically , it just go up and go down again until i press it manually up , then i try it again but it doesnt happen anymore, is this a common problem that will happen randomly?
and so far only reach 280km with 1 bar left, I will consider myself as light footed edi, is it becoz the car is still new or the fuel efficiency is really this bad ?

I know that sound behind the odometer, most likely it will go away by itself. At least it did in my case.

does everyone here go to SC or 3rd party for service and mantenence? i am looking for a 3rd party shop which repair preve/suprima . Dont ask me back to SC . i left SC after my 3rd service .

We need to go to SC in order to the the Free Service for 3 years etc2, and for warranty purposes. What's wrong with Proton SC?

nvm, i got iPad installed with Papago.. Haha.. sufficient to compete with Garmin.. Bigger screen.. not always using GPS too.. so it's ok for me..

i got a magnet phone holder.. with my phone installed with papago and waze too.. GPS always ready in my gadgets

First 1000KM FC would be very bad. After first service, my car FC improved tremendously.
