Ya, the missed call alert is only applicable and functionable when you enable voice mail.
When u off the phone or the line is busy and someone calls you, you will be redirected to voicemail and the caller hangs up the call without leaving the voicemail. When u switch on the phone or available, you will receive voicemail notification.
However, if you disable the voicemail, you wont get the alert alot. Unlike DiGi, you will get the notification even you disable the voicemail.
Maxis should look into this!

QUOTE(marquis @ Jan 29 2006, 06:42 PM) Happy New Year ya'all! Hey I got a question: If I upgrade to 3G right, would they take away my old sim card? And if they don't, would I still be able to use the sim card? Another one. If I claim my sim card to have been lost, and ask for a new one, they would give me the usim right? So does that mean I only have to pay RM15 to get it? Thanks all So, anyone can help me out here?
