Happy New Year ya'all! biggrin.gif

Hey I got a question:

If I upgrade to 3G right, would they take away my old sim card? And if they don't, would I still be able to use the sim card?

Another one. If I claim my sim card to have been lost, and ask for a new one, they would give me the usim right? So does that mean I only have to pay RM15 to get it?

Thanks all biggrin.gif

Hey, thanks for the feedback! biggrin.gif So they took away his old sim card right? Thinking whether to switch to 3G or not. I've a 3G-able phone, but not the line tongue.gif

So what's different with the new card? Can it store more msgs, or more numbers? Is it a 64k or 128k?

Has anyone try using the Hotlink IDD132 feature?
How exactly do I send a sms to the countries listed in the IDD132? Do I need to follow the same code exactly like the one for dialing? I try to send but it fails everytime.
Thanks in advance smile.gif

Shouldn't it be like sending normal sms? If Singapore, go 0065 followed by number or +65 followed by number. Each country has different codes. Australia is +61, India is +91

the + replaces the 00. Special case for Singapore can also use 02 followed by number for sms. Certain countries you can't sms like Greece. But Australia, UK, Singapore, Indonesia, Phillipines all can.

Yep, I try sending sms to, for example, +65xxxxxxx but it doesn't work too, the recipient didn't receive any sms.

You sure you're sending to the right number? Because I sms Spore everyday. No problems at all.

i just changed my sim to usim last week. They didnt took away the old sim as it was pass back to me, they even copied all my sim numbers to the new usim hehehe..

erm, personally i dont see/feel any differences with the new card apart from now i can access 3G services.

The sim phonebook is still 250 numbers ..

ermmm .. i'm not sure whether there will be charge for changing the usim or not BUT i wasnt charged anything when i changed it, and my this month bill just arrived and there is NO charges related to the change of sim card thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

I LOVE YOU MAN! Hehe tongue.gif Thanks for all the info. You pretty much answered all my questions biggrin.gif

Curious...Which service center did you go to yeah? And how come you didn't get charged? My line is a sub line of my sis's and she is a One Club Member. So does that make me a One Club member as well? Does beinga One Club member have anything to do with your foc sim change?
