Yeah especially with discounting part, doing a Time Share company. Luckily can practice on this one before it was fully incorporated this financial year. Next year die lo. Right now struggling with FRS 201, hate DE schedule.  mad.gif MOH submission next Wednesday  tongue.gif

U all have an MOH submission? isn't it just the Section 9(3) and Reg 12 of the HDA submission? ><

As for the time sharing.. uh.. I'm doing a near-full fledged review of FRS139 (but somehow i think the team disagrees with the client management and also our own manager)...

Section 9 finished long time ago, its Reg12A. Major OSM never clear, got problem lo. Within 6 months from financial year end date, muek. Hate doing companies that do diversification, got different deadline for different thing.

Oh you started with 2010 year end company ady ? Mine was still on Dec 2009. FRS 139 effective 1 Jan 2010.
Ha ha 3 pronged attack biggrin.gif . Mine also lo. My problem all started by the discounting rate. Normal basis is use Fixed Deposit rate. Checked across all Malaysian banks averagely 2.3%. Last time before crisis was 3.7%. Can guess what happen next ady.

Ha ha everyone now going back early to watch Portugal vs Brazil tongue.gif

QUOTE(Topace111 @ Mar 2 2010, 07:44 PM)

Audit if you like to go home late, pay is peanuts compared to hours worked, but when reach partner whoa, when bonus come can change car just like that. But that route is not sweet. Travel a lot and work a lot too. Most of the time is due to lack of manpower.

Tax, not as fast paced as audit but all depends on how good your tax planning skill. Always heard they can go back at 5.30  cry.gif  cry.gif . Rarely travel except to Pandan Indah or Jalan Duta.

Advisory is on project basis and need to fight for client. Sometimes you are damn busy but most of the time you are not. The interviewer told me they roughly go back after 7p.m. Really need to be able to "TALK" well and good research skills. One word the interviewer quote me, must be able to communicate from a lowly despatch boy all the way to the CEO him/herself.

If you want money, Big4 always underpaid their staff, especially junior ones.

Emm can try la, some don't require working experience while others need. Can say learning curve for juniors is quite slow. But come to advance level, it will be leap. Advisory............ if you really like to advise people, I wouldn't suggest big4 lo.

Bonus for partner la, not junior staff.

In audit dept, my advise if you are there for fun or just to try new things, don't. In Mys, people got habit of looking down anyone who leave before 3 years. So if you are being treated like a ding dong doodle you still have to take it.

rclxub.gif When the glass is too full, the water will spill. The thing is do you waste the water or will you do something to make sure it doesn't flow over? I understand why you are saying this but would you go down without a fight?

hmm usually we'd report under Section 9(3) and either Regulations 12 or 12A. gonna switch to 12A soon, pain in the arse
