Hi senior bros I will b goin for an interview at bdo next week thus just wanna enquire usually what question would the interviewer ask to a fresh graduate without exp. applying for audit assistant? Will he ask questions relating to audit and tax topic? If so what area of topic regarding audit should I prepare myself in order to tackle the question. Btw will they have any assessment test and what type of assessment will they throw to the candidate.

Seems like Deloitte is not hirin any fresh grad for their audit dept..go thru their website and not vacancy available..i applied for E&Y with referral from my cousin..but got sad news that they aint hirin as well : (

In interview they normally based their questions to gauge whether you are suitable for audit :
1) Willingness to work late
2) Willingness to travel and work beyond normal capacity
3) Technical attributes
4) Ability to learn independently and fast
5) Able to handle stress well
6) Able to work in teams
7) Multi-tasking

how many test will be carry out during interview of all big 4 firm??

my result has released and with blessing of God, I am able to score a First Class. Just wondering, will that make my starting pay higher compare to other graduates that only manage to get a Second Class Upper?

So what's wrong with being greedy? You see yourself as a higher value due to your first class, and you wanted a higher pay for it. Whether you really deserve it or is it from a reputable uni is another matter.

Just an advice for you, don't have to give politically correct answers here. People who don't lack brains would see through you anyway =).

All the above is true....what they don't tell you is wait till you get a crap senior in a crappy job. That's when you realise that none of this will really help you to handle that situation. The most important question is are you going to be happy in audit? Time will only tell on that.
