I just applied for a refund of RM600+ at TNG Hub (Nu Sentral) and the quoted time is "within 30 days".

Will track how long it takes and update here.

30 days? This really make me think twice again to reload it more.
Original i was thinking to reload it at high amount by using credit card, coz is kind of hassle purposely go to outlet that allow to use cc for reload. 

My post relates to refunding the credit. I'm not sure why this would make you think twice about reloading?

Yeah, I worry after load too much, and need to refund time might give me long waiting period.

The amount you reload doesn't affect the waiting time for refunds.

I mean load a bit then the chance of refund is lesser.
Or i should put it this way. Original I plan to reload an amount which is sufficient for my 6 mths usage, now maybe I will reduce it to 2 mths.

why are you treating tng card as your atm card? 

just reload enough for 1-2 months lo, knowing the refund is a pain. better use the extra money for something else, instead of reload big amount to tng and refund it later.

even you want to take advantage to maximize cashback, it's kinda defeating the purpose to spend wisely.

Lol, not ATM card la. Just i spend quite a lot for toll for my daily travel usage. And all the listed reload spots which allow using cc is kind of not convenient for me. So i am thinking to do it at Mid Valley when i do my shopping there which is not very frequent too. 

since your daily spending is quite a lot, it'll finish faster than you can think of refunding. 

just reload more lo, eventually your travelling cost and time is saved anyway.

FYI, TNG card can hold up to RM1.5k credits.

Oh ok, now I understand.

The reason why I reload RM800 to 1000 per month is because my husband and I have combined RM3.5k monthly car allowances (petrol, toll top up, maintenance etc) to use. If I don't use it, it is burned. So no choice but to reload TNG like crazy, and if got too much, then refund.

TnG also consider as car allowance?
Don't your company know TnG can buy many things which are non car/travel related?

Don't think they care. Anything car related is counted, even non essential services.

It's part of remuneration package with annial cap so whether I use it to buy new sports rims or top up TNG it doesn't make a difference to them. My colleagues use their allowance to change most expensive rims and tyres and car detailing / upholstering every year just to use up the allowance. I think that's even more wasteful.

Touch ’n Go to introduce TnG e-wallet service in Q3

KUALA LUMPUR: Touch ‘n Go Sdn Bhd (TnG) plans to launch the “TnG e-wallet”, an electronic payment (e-payment) digital application in the third quarter (Q3) of this year.

Its CEO Syahrunizam Samsudin said TnG e-wallet would enable cashless transactions for the public, small retailers and large merchants.

He said the service was currently at the pilot testing stage and would be concluded next month, involving 2,000 retailers and merchants.

“We will launch it tentatively in Q3 after getting Bank Negara Malaysia’s approval,” he told reporters yesterday after the launch of TnG’s new customer experience centre by CIMB Group Holdings Bhd chairman Datuk Seri Nazir Razak, who also witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between TnG, Lazada Malaysia and Grab.

TnG’s collaboration with Lazada marked its first online marketplace, providing another channel for customers to purchase TnG products via the online shopping portal.

Meanwhile, the MoU with Grab, the ride-hailing platform, was part of TnG’s initiative to promote urban mobility and public transportation by offering rebate promo codes and end-to-end travel convenience to transit users. Syahrunizam said TnG currently had 17 million active cards in circulation. – Bernama
