After upgraded to 8.1.1... My iphone 6 64gb is smoother in scrolling especially when scrolling for songs in music library(i have more than 2000 songs)... Previously on 8.1, got a bit lag n not so silky smooth.

Can't comment on iPhone 6 as I have yet to get my hands on one, but it's true for my iPad Air, although the savings is just about 0.3GB.

Here's the screenshot for 8.1: -

[attachmentid=4223028]

And here it is after I updated to 8.1.1

[attachmentid=4223029]

Anyone with an iPhone 6 noticed if it also applies to the iPhone?

Used space decreased by 0.3GB, but your Available Space increased by 0.7GB? smile.gif

I have already updated my iPhone 6 yesterday before I saw the iMore article, so I did not check the before/after space. But the user comments on that site seems to indicate it applies to iPhones too.

I noticed my 6+ was heating up a lot while browsing using chrome after updated to 8.1.1
There's an update for chrome this morning. Hope it solves the problem.

1st gen or with retina display? If it's the former then it's probably just Apple's ploy to get you to buy new hardware

I hate this thread, looks like I will get the 6+ 64GB. shakehead.gif Will purchase next month using my Maybank Treatpoints, after exhausting my points I will pay for 2749 for 64GB. I will utilize the weekend AmEx rebate as well, that means will pay around 2700. thumbup.gif

No matter what, you still need some calls/sms or data plan. Why not sign up package with any telco ?
Of course, need to wait for stock...

1) then get subsidize for mere few hundred ringgit and go through the nightmare on getting a phone from them?
2) then pay more than u use due to lousy ivalue plan?
3) then need to be in agreement with them for 1 to 2 years or pay penalty if wanna upgrade new phone next year?

no thanks. will just pay surfmore rm50/month. call pay per use.
4) no over quota charges anyway.
ala carte is the way to go for me.

Nah. I don't need because I'm using DiGi Ambassador Plan. None of the DiGi plans can match this plan.
So, I will not change it. smile.gif

Also, my company has given me a corporate Celcom line, so I don't need other plans. biggrin.gif

Since few years ago already, the original charger is a smart charger. Once reach 100% and trickle for some time, it will stop charging. You can test this, especially with the ipad charger. When charging, the charger plug feels warm. Once reach 100%, it will auto-stop charging and the charger plug will feels cool, if you leave it on.

Your device may still show it is charging, but it maybe just pass-through power only. i.e. not charging.

Noted. I also have a backup ambassador line wink.gif

Corporate line can nego with the free/contractual device, depending on your company policy/telco agent. I have colleagues migrate from BB to iPhone package deals under corp a/c.
