The only reason most people would buy from a Telco would be because they already need a phone plan so they want the subsidies. Anyone who has dealt with Apple's customer service before knows they are much better than our telco's customer service (of course, I am speaking from my own experience, and based on majority of what I've been reading on most forums).
*
True for me. I want the subsidised phone only.

For the rest, if you do not need a contract plan, I always wonder why they want to fight for stock with postpaid line contract buyers during product launch. You can always buy direct from Apple/Machines/etc. Same RRP price. rclxub.gif

what make they angry because they already pay for their iphone but until today still didnt received it yet
*
It's more about:
- misleading information from Maxis. For pre-order, it was stated "Shipped 6th Nov". I understand it as "to ship" at 6th Nov. Not deliver by 6th Nov. Using courier/delivery, the time will be 1-2 max working day within Klang Valley. Most (if not all) did not receive anything on 7th. Nor the next Monday (10th).
So now, MOS is smart and change it to "Delivery within 7-14 working days"

- lack/wrong info of communication. Each call will get different answer. MOS website not updated. Even if updated, it is wrong. Does not match the actual real-time status.

yup. very less lagging on my iPad 2 after update. much much less.
*
OT: hmm ... hmm.gif makes me think should I upgrade my iPad2 from iOS 7 to latest iOS 8.1.1

I read a lot of comments about lag before this. Just thinking whether worth it or not.

I hate this thread, looks like I will get the 6+ 64GB. shakehead.gif Will purchase next month using my Maybank Treatpoints, after exhausting my points I will pay for 2749 for 64GB. I will utilize the weekend AmEx rebate as well, that means will pay around 2700. thumbup.gif
*
No matter what, you still need some calls/sms or data plan. Why not sign up package with any telco ?
Of course, need to wait for stock...

Does anyone know if the stock charger stops charging at 100%? do i need to get another plug or cable for that? Dont wanna kill my battery by overnight charging everyday tongue.gif
*
Since few years ago already, the original charger is a smart charger. Once reach 100% and trickle for some time, it will stop charging. You can test this, especially with the ipad charger. When charging, the charger plug feels warm. Once reach 100%, it will auto-stop charging and the charger plug will feels cool, if you leave it on.

Your device may still show it is charging, but it maybe just pass-through power only. i.e. not charging.

Nah. I don't need because I'm using DiGi Ambassador Plan. None of the DiGi plans can match this plan.
So, I will not change it. smile.gif

Also, my company has given me a corporate Celcom line, so I don't need other plans. biggrin.gif
*
Noted. I also have a backup ambassador line wink.gif

Corporate line can nego with the free/contractual device, depending on your company policy/telco agent. I have colleagues migrate from BB to iPhone package deals under corp a/c.

I just looked in Settings > Privacy > Diagnostics & Usage and saw a crash titled: LatestCrash tinynote.ips

Happened after updating to iOS 8.1.1 yesterday. But I didn't notice any crash and I don't have any app called TinyNote. Anyone checked and see any crash reports on their set?

- iPhone 6 64GB

QUOTE(Jejaka Jambu @ Nov 20 2014, 04:00 PM)
Guys, is the battery life really that long lasting? Has anyone kept track of it?
*
iPhone 4 or 5, can only last 1-1.5 days on average.
6+ so far can last 2 full days on average.

QUOTE(Jejaka Jambu @ Nov 20 2014, 04:08 PM)
Good to get your feedback guys - a more in depth question if you dont mind....

Is it really really that bendable? In the back pocket I mean
*
Yes, just like a leather wallet that you put at back pocket, the possibility is bendable.

QUOTE(Marcus95 @ Nov 20 2014, 08:42 PM)
so if pure sun light should be no flickering?
*
Your normal flourescent light flicker at 100-120Hz.
Last I read, LED also flicker at 120-150Hz
TV/Monitor screen flicker at 50/60/75Hz. There was a time Sony Trinitron 100Hz or is it Samsung/Panasonic ?
This is due to AC current behaviour at 50/60Hz.

Hence, when slow mo, this is captured.

Sun-light is also a frequency, but is very wide: "The frequency of visible light is referred to as color, and ranges from 430 trillion hertz, seen as red, to 750 trillion hertz, seen as violet"
Hence, it is not that noticeable, unless using scientific equipments.

Out of topic question:

What's the best way to check on our mobile data usage? I miss the accurate mobile data usage tool in Android. Do we have such similar page / tool in iOS?

For Maxis users, store this number in your contact list:

Not so convenient for SurfMore (maybe only 75?) users because you still further input after that part. The first page only shows AOTG usage for me and you need to reply with "01" before you can see your actual usage...
*
hmm... mine direct show usage:

My phone status is shipped out. Im excited redi.
Silly question. When i 1st receive the phone, i must charge 8 full hours b4 operating it right?
*
This only applies to previous generation batteries like Ni-Mh. Current Li-Ion no need such thing. Just start using as per normal, until low-batt, then charge.

I don't have issue with boot loop or apps crashing as well.

I deal with Sandisk or Micron manufacturing for MLC and TLC, their products is pretty stable, firmware could fix the issues for boot loop
*
Mine is stated Toshiba. How to find out WW45 manufacturing date ? hmm.gif
