71% battery charge left @ 5 hour mark on iOS 8.1.1. I consider this my normal daily usage (I have very active whatsapp groups, plug my phone in charger while I drive >37KM to work using Waze).

Compare this with 68% and 73% with similar method of measurement (and usage level) from before I upgraded, so far it seems about the same.

I start a timer for 5 hours right after I unplug my phone from the charger this morning and take reading when timer finishes.
*
oh means not "usage time" in your setting shows 5 hours?

Since few years ago already, the original charger is a smart charger. Once reach 100% and trickle for some time, it will stop charging. You can test this, especially with the ipad charger. When charging, the charger plug feels warm. Once reach 100%, it will auto-stop charging and the charger plug will feels cool, if you leave it on.

Your device may still show it is charging, but it maybe just pass-through power only. i.e. not charging.

I am on iPhone 6 (latest iOS) and recently I notice I kept on getting "No Service" every now and then. After a while, the signal comes back. I'm a Maxis user.

Anyone else has the same problem?

Try removing your case. Your backcover could be affecting the network coverage.

Folks, there's an app called iMonitor which I found quite gooding, more like statistic of your phone's ram and processes.

On Notification Centre
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

Running few apps include games, got 95% usage of ram, 100% no lag at all, for the love of iOS!!! icon_idea.gif thumbup.gif
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

No background app running, idle status, about 60 ish %
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

The question is more on the Process ID, the list goes on and on, I think thousands of processes running, make me wonder hmm.gif hmm.gif

get it here: iMonitor

Try comparing another phone on the same network side by side and see network coverage bar. If yours is lesser, then it is your phone coverage problem and you can send it back for RMA.

I'm wondering how much battery the timer consumed, hehe....
*
Well I use iOS timer built in timer. If there's such a thing as power efficient timers, it's definitely done by apple itself.

Yeah. Because I can't be staring at the battery usage timer all the time.

Actually yes, I have noticed that as well, Maxis line with the iPhone 6+ running on 8.1.1.

The occurrence is rare so I didn't think it was an issue.

Still in high demand. Out of stock everywhere. That what makes our phones rare. brows.gif

Actually that's not entirely accurate. There are limited quantities of 16GB around. But if you want a 64GB and are particular about a certain colour then it's difficult.

If it's high demand, then it's popular not rare.

If you look hard enough everywhere, you can still find 16GB iPhone 6.

I just looked in Settings > Privacy > Diagnostics & Usage and saw a crash titled: LatestCrash tinynote.ips

Happened after updating to iOS 8.1.1 yesterday. But I didn't notice any crash and I don't have any app called TinyNote. Anyone checked and see any crash reports on their set?
