QUOTE(cute_boboi @ Nov 21 2014, 05:20 PM) For Maxis users, store this number in your contact list: *136*9*1#Not so convenient for SurfMore (maybe only 75?) users because you still further input after that part. The first page only shows AOTG usage for me and you need to reply with "01" before you can see your actual usage...

QUOTE(slickz @ Nov 21 2014, 03:38 PM) I get why we put cases on the iphone , so we sacrifice a little time molesting the naked chassis of the phone during our day to day use. I do draw the line however, at sacrificing usability and even going so far as to enable an ugly accessibility button that obscures our view of the graphical user interface just so we don't "wear down" the phone's home button too much. Who's the master here? The phone, or us as the consumer? THIS.

I never charged my phone for 8 hours since the replacement of Ni-Mh battery with Li-polymer battery. I believe you can charge anytime, maybe a complete discharge once a month.

This only applies to previous generation batteries like Ni-Mh. Current Li-Ion no need such thing. Just start using as per normal, until low-batt, then charge.

All you need to do is to set the "AssistiveTouch" to "ON" in Settings>General>Accessibility>AssistiveTouch>On. Simple as that. Or you can even customise the Accessibility Shortcut with Triple-Click The Home Button For: AssistiveTouch to activate it.

I believe you can charge anytime, maybe a complete discharge once a month. There's no official guide from apple on calibrating battery on iPhones but the do have guide for Macbooks. You could probably use the same method on your phone. I did that with my iPhone 4 previously. http://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201575

The main purpose for all electronic devices you purchased, they stated in the manual asking to charge at least 4 - 8 hours is that they wanted you to read the full manual before using the device(s). Normally, the devices are pre-charged in the box for use immediately you made the purchase.

QUOTE(meredere @ Nov 21 2014, 07:47 PM) Tenkiu tenkiu. Last time phone must charge 1st before usage. One thing you should know tho, if you want to store your phone when it's powered down for a long time. You should charge it to around 50%. This keeps the battery healthy.
