I find myself using the plus very often now. Some people find it big, but i find it OK. Can't do 1 hand though. Now I'll watch you tube on my wireless headphone while on the treadmill because the screen is big enough.

Not only the space grey looks boring, it's colours are pretty bland and doesn't show the curves of the IPhone 6/6+. A lot of people got bored of it after some time.

Based on all I've read in various forums, I would be willing now to consider the 6 over the 6 Plus, but if the battery life is in iPhone 5 category then I would really, really regret it, haha...

Check the Photo settings. I think you have photo stream to iCloud enabled.

Hence my dilemma to either invest in a 64GB 6 Plus now for the long term and wait patiently for updates or get a 16GB 6 first to satisfy my materialistic cravings (not helped by my active participation here) and go for the S version next year., hahaha

That's certainly a possibility. There's another possibility in that the A8 processor can't run it at the same framerate as the 6.

Think about it, the same processor needs to work harder to push images to a 1080x1920 pixels vs 750x1334 screen. Of course the smaller screen would have performance left to spare.

Usually I set 50% brightness and leave everything like Location and LTE on. Why buy a phone to shut off half the features just to conserve battery life? (of course, if it's gimmicky stuffs like smart stay, glove mode, etc. then by all means shut off) haha..
