summore got lots of tortoises... HUGE2 wan... but this time all de turtles are not labelled hence no price on de turts... to know, gotto ask... got a florida softshell too...

neway, bet u guys sure sees a turtle near de wall and on those blue tank on de floor wan... it's carapace is like rounded and can't see any scutes... like an ancient turtle liddat... wat kind of turtle is tat ar? it's HUGE too...

if anyone go pet's safari exotics area there... SURE will see tat turtle wan... it's on de only one on de floor and not on any cabinet... apa turtle itu ar?? hehe...

The Big Huge tortoise is Burmese Mountain Tortoise. The big turtle inside the big blue tank is Painted Terrapin.

btw, how to define terrapin ar?? they don have claw but flap?

is softshell terrapin then?

Malayan Box Turtles

Turtles can live either on land or water. Terrapin lives in water only and they just go to land to lay eggs.

That's some pictures from my brother's collection. The big blue tank contains Malayan Box Turtle, Asian Leaf Turtle and Chinese Stripped Neck Turtle. I put them alltogether coz im cleaning their place. I place my Malayan Boxie's with my Asian Giant Pond Turtle and Spiny Hill turtle now. Left inside the big blue tank is 5 Asian Leaf Turtles, 2 Chinese Stripped Neck and 1 injured Malayan Box.

Wow...thats ALOT of turtles! Which one is Asian Leaf?? I cant see any?? Those are some serious Stars!

I think still not enuf lah. But later im gonna concentrate on tortoises rather than turtles. But for the meantime, im collecting all asian turtles first before i start to collect tortoises.

Asian leaf is inside the blue tank, if u can noticed the black head without those yellow stripes.

I still have the Asian Giant Pond and Spiny Hill's pictures to be posted later. Wait for them.

I have to put them altogether inside the blue tank so that they wont run away. But cant mixed them with ally with stars,giant pond and spiny hill coz later they become lunch and dinner for my ally.

guys... i bot a nutrafin basix turtle pellets... as i read de ingredients... it's different than de other brand of turtle pellets... wonder wat other brand's ingredient do have ha?

maybe it's a good info for others... plz do write down de turtle pellet's ingredients of de brands tat u haf... appreciate inputs...



nutrafin basix floating turtle pellets:
fish meal, soy flour, wheat flour, oat flour, shrimp meal, yeast, kelp meal, fish liver meal.

crude protein min - 34.0%
crude fat min - 4.0%
crude fiber max - 2.5%
moisture max - 10.0%




Aquadene turtle pellets:
fish meal, yeast, wheat germ meal, soya meal, wheat flour, varieties of vitamins and minerals. Add on natural spirulina , krill.

crude protein min - 35.0%
crude fat min - 8%
crude fiber max - 5%
crude ash max - 10%
moisture max - 10%

how bout sanyu? i've throw my sanyu bottle... can't get de ingredients d... anyone care to input?

need to look for other brands tat are on shelfs of our local market... sanyu, reptomin, aquadene, nutrafin, wat else is around ha?
