RM68 the lowest i've seen. buy at least 5-10 i think can get rm50, haggle a bit.

why wanna rush to have a star at RM50 when the husbandry costs much more? save some more 1st, get bigger specimen and proper setup.

Like what camillenoir said, better to save more and buy the bigger specimen as they are more hardy and less prone to fall sick. No point buying them cheap and might endup dead 1 months later. There's a friend of mine here who bought 5 small ones and i think 2 of them died. Another case where 2 of his only star tortoise died. Both of them having those rm68 specimens FYI.

oh.. point taken. but anyway , how does a baby behaves ? active ? always walking ?
or i have seen some that are sleeping during day time at pet shops.

also where is the rm68 shop , just in case , to be alert/take precaution about their stars.

Please get a bigger Star.... you will regret getting those cheap ones.... 2 inch stars are highly sensitive and something wrong, say bacterial infection or a slight cold can cause death.... I have gone through that before, that is why I dare say out.

Well.... around the head is normal. Means shedding.... you can soak your ST once a day for 10 minutes to soften the skin and shed easily. But of course make sure once soaked in water, must place in tank with a basking light or some place warm so it won't catch a cold.
