Yes. It is officially stated by Microsoft. Upgrading Windows 7 to Windows 10 got nothing to do with Windows 8/8.1. I believe it will be a straight upgrade to Windows 10 without the need to go through upgrading to 8 then to 10.

Windows 7 and Windows 8 or 8.1 will be receiving free upgrade of Windows 10 on the first year when it is launched. Once you upgrade it within 1 year of its initial launch, it will be FOREVER yours.
Eg: Windows 10 released on 1st January 2015, so if you upgrade it within the period of 1st January 2015 - 31st December 2015, it will be forever licensed to you.

However, Windows 7 Enterprise, Windows 8 or 8.1 Enterprise and Windows 8/8.1 RT will NOT get the free upgrade to Windows 10.

I bought windows 8.1 coz my windows 7 crack version

Today i went to illegear to check my fail usb ports and the broken hinge cover..

Their customer service was top notch..left my laptop there at 11am and at 2pm already done by replacing the whole motherboard and new hinge cover..all problem with usb solved..and the beast z5 is back kn track..and damn fast fix so i no need to go back to semenyih and make another trip another day

if i dont add this option does this mean if there is any dead pixel *touch wood* i won't be able to bring it to you guys for help under warranty? still not that clear for this warranty part

Nop. GPU and CPU is soldered. But you can add in RAM to get 16gb. There is 2 mSata SSD slot also in Z5.
Those MXM model laptop doesn't come cheap. It is quite impossible MXM laptop comes with < RM4k

Not upgradable ..as miong 93 said..need to get mxm motherboards like the one in d5 etc etc

I think for this question, its better if prince j answer u straight which laptop is actually upgradable

Z5 CPU and GPU are not upgradable. Only those models with MXM slot can upgrade GPU: RS, D and RX series.

But you can still change the Z5 motherboard though.

There is no option for it in the website, but I think Prince J will probably get it done for you. PM him.
4K igzo is very expensive though, 860m can't support 4k gaming. (There is not much video in 4k resolution also, so far I didn't found one)

not worth it bro, gtx860m with 4k wont last long for future games

wanted to do a disassemble video, but i think this video already proves how easy it is to disassemble the bottom cover which gives access to all components of the z5...i got nothing more to show dy by making my own video

disassemble starts from 15.59 ddr3

Well I think our z5 have some sort of clip which holds the bottom cover. After unscrewed, the bottom cover still stick to the laptop body.
The heatpipe design in the video is also different with the one Prince J posted, so maybe different version.

My ILLEGEAR Z5 left speaker seems to have pecah sound...
ILLEGEAR can fix this?
it is from day one, I thought it was other thing sound around me. if I play over volume, it should broken up both speakers.

also I always mis type the spacebar. button seems not to responsive.

Try this
See if both your speaker is working normally without the pecah sound.
What you mean miss type ? You press the wrong button or the button is not responsive ?
Send it in for warranty/check up at ILLEGEAR

This space bar thing also i encounter..i thought its normal coz i press at corner of the spacebar button and sometimes miss..and most of the times i use my logitech keyboard
