What is the amount of 桂花 needed for a 4-person dessert?

I'm worry it'll become too "bitter" to be consumed. Slight bittersweet is fine. sweat.gif

Eh.... For a 9inch diameter round pan, I put in 2 tbsp of flowers.

I'm wondering, how does the 2 tbsp of flowers affect the bittersweet taste on a 9"-dia round pan? hmm.gif

I have a 8 x 8" square pan. Don't worry, the area is about the same. sweat.gif

for me the flavor is slightly strong, but my family and neighbors liked it. smile.gif

BTW, if you are using waterchestnut flour as base, make sure your pan can fit into your wok/pot for steaming. DO NOT attempt to cook the whole mixture in a saucepan (like gelatine base) because you'll ended up with a burnt bottom. laugh.gif

I'm utterly disturbed and bitterly disappointed that there's no picture of Ipoh's turtle steamed buns.
