Chinese kuih, written as "guo" (粿) or sometimes as "gao" (糕), are usually made from ground rice flours. - Wikipedia Due to limited spaces, I can't post all the kuihs here. im proud to say i have tried all of the kuih featured in this tered.
red tortoise cake i no like. when i was young my grandma had a case of food poisoning. she had that cake. but she puked it out 30mins later rite in front of me. never touched it again. until this year when i went to my fren's house for CNY n his mum bought some black colour tortoise cake. hokkien version according to her. d black one is was very very nice.
