Don't send between weekends, sometimes it will get damage due to the weekend transit which they stack up all the things inside a store.

planing to send some teddy n stuff to sarawak, the box will be big due to obvious reason, will they charge me by volumetric calculation or just weight it? since its not breakable stuff, register pos/ pos express posible? how long it needs and wat r the rates?

i send an amp b4 to sabah i think with poslaju, they still weight it, cant remember how much tho.
*
U'll b charged according to volumetric weight

QUOTE(TheXxBestxX @ Apr 28 2007, 12:48 AM)
i also want to ask. i want to send item to one using poslaju but with two box.. does poslaju charge me once or twice??
*
Unlike other shipping companies, PosLaju considers that as 2 separate parcels

QUOTE(spenny_yan @ May 1 2007, 09:53 PM)
actually is it secure? i scare damage.
*
PosLaju is indeed often more secure & reliable than others

This isnt always the case all depends on the person(s) handling things. Somtimes even inside the post office the staff simply throw around

i have and experience about this but it is other way mean i was in bintulu and send it to kajang. it cost you below than RM20 (that price on 2005).

p/s: maximum weight they allow is 20kg. reason - easy for their people to carry cause lot of workload to do. sweat.gif if u overweight just around 5kg max it ok for them but u have to pay extra money (erk.. bad term 'denda' la of course) but if more than that.. they ask you to repack jadi small quantity of weight.

the fastest parcel i got from kajang to bintulu was the day after (noon) cause my mom send it in morning which is the day they make finalize item to send and send the parcel to airport and flew to bintulu in same day. last flight to bintulu was 3 @ 4 pm - MAS and AIRASIA 5pm (MAS around 4.45pm arrived in kuching then arrived in bintulu 6pm).

PosDaftar is act just standard method of shipping but w/ the added security whr signature is required hence it'll take ~3 days though I heard insiders told me they pay more attention to registered parcels which somtimes might make it delivered faster

i hope this helps.. i emailed the person in charge of the mlk branch for the courier costs, and he replied me with these price breakdowns for the fees n everything..

it is confirmed by EMS that the pricing structure is being standardized throughout Msia, but nothing said whether East and West Malaysia applies the same pricing, but i assume they dont.

originally the file when sent to me was in excel format but i changed it into a .pdf format so that its easier for viewing.. if this is a repost them im sry.. notworthy.gif ...
