Construction Industry is so complex and actually affect various party namely,

House buyer / Purchaser
Developer
Consultant (Architect, Engineer and etc)
Main Contractor
Subcontractor / Vendor / Supplier
Local Authority (DBKL, BOMBA, SYABAS, TNB, TELEKOM, POS, JKKP, IWK and etc.)

u can also ask me about construction law. I know a lot abt that too biggrin.gif

I think it's the schedule that developers follow like to build the foundation then constructing the levels. Is the information not available for the buyers?

I'm a fresh graduate with Bachelor's of Hons Civil Engineering with kinda low cgpa (2.4) average C+ from Unviersiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR). Currently, i'm working in a china construction company but i'm working in unrelated field such as M&E drafter or as an assistant M&E coordinator. I am planning to get professional engineer title and IR title in coming future. So, i am thinking to switch job but i quite scare about my cgpa would not be accept by other engineering firm or construction industry. Any suggestion for me? Btw, i'm from Malaysia.

learning that software is advantage but not a must in consultant field. coz cad operator know much better than u but they not asking for high salary. what they don't know is they don't know how to design only.

Hi guys,

Can I know whether we can get c&s drawing from developer or architect for free after purchasing a new house?
Wanted to have a clear look at the beams drawing to plan for renovation but developer say then don't provide & must buy from the architect. Is it true?
Or how much it will cost me for that drawigs.
Needed your advise.
Thanks

This question very hard to answer without knowing the full context.
But if you want to do anything like this, you definitely need to engage an architect, so let the architect to advise.

My main con was saying it’s illegal to remove any staircase but he also mentioned some business owners are able to get the approval of removing staircase from bomba. Therefore I am here to ask. By the way, thanks for your information and I will try to find 1
