good lesser pool of buyers, and also existing pool of buyers aware of this and pause buying, those see the market different view also stop buying in view of super inflation next year, with no demands around, as usual investors will call their won price, and try to fortified with valuers, by paying under table money like RM1k to get the valuation report on higher price, bank officers chasing for commission will tutup mata and say loan approved based on valuers

Bear bear dun buy. Ur 1unit home purchase has no impact to the market. Pls dun buy.

QUOTE(Jliew168 @ Oct 20 2014, 04:27 PM)
JOHOR BARU: Young Malaysians are being declared bankrupt because they spend more than they earn, says Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Nancy Shukri (pic).

This trend was worrying because most of them had just started working but already had debt problems, she added.

“This younger generation are supposed to be the next leaders. Instead, we have those who are already facing financial difficulties at a very young age,’’ she told a press conference after opening an information programme for young people at the Home Ministry complex at Setia Tropika here yesterday.

Quoting figures from the Insolvency Department, she said there was an increase in the number of young Malaysians being declared bankrupts in the past five years.

She said there were nearly 22,000 cases last year, an increase from about 13,200 in 2007.

Within the first six months of this year, more than 12,300 young Malaysians had been declared bankrupt. They include 3,680 women.

“On the average, 70.22% of the cases are men,” said Nancy, adding that most of them have outstanding debts of RM30,000 or more and could not afford to settle their dues.

She said the high bankruptcy rate among Malaysians at a young age mainly resulted from defaulting on instalment payments on car, housing and personal loans.

Nancy said there had been celebrities who were also declared bankrupt but most of them declined to seek assistance from the Insolvency Department.

She added that aside from the department, those who have problems managing their finances could seek advice from the Credit Counselling and Debt Management Agency.

ClouldAtlas already post this. (Conclusion don't buy inflated price car).

This one more interesting.

Conclusion

As a home buyer, it pays to know what the implementation of GST might bode for home prices moving forward. If you skipped the entire article, here are all the key insights in a nutshell:

1.) With GST, there should be a once-off increase in property prices across the board
2.) While developers may not bill home buyers for GST, they could transfer the costs implicitly via the sale price
3.) The overall price increase for new residential properties could be marginally lower than that for new commercial properties
4.) The secondary home market should see a knock on effect in prices
5.) Armed with this knowledge, you can make a better decision on when to purchase your home.

Market very bad...I got 1 condo vp soon, very worried about installment.

I ask my agent sell 1.2, someone give me offer 700k, instead of ask him go road side tfk..I beg the buyer increase little bit so that I can settle my loan..is buyer market now cry.gif cry.gif

Everywhere is dropping..I can sense it..new VP condo all no demand..you consider lucky if someone buy your unit at dirt cheap..please don't hold..cut lost now

Next year after GST I foresee property at least drop 50% worst than 97 crisis

Ringgit going to depriciate to lowest point in history..sooner all our ringgit become worthless..

Please convert to rupiah n Thai bath or peso..anything happen we can run to Thailand and work as Gigolo or go Indonesia as contraction worker..

Europe n us already bann malaysian due to too many jump aeroplane there

Take half of your saving in bank n buy rice n keep under your bed..sooner rice will more valuable than gold

This is serious advice...latuk manutdgiggs , tiger , zuiko , appreciate man, clould ,showtime , jolokia u all take care since u all r big property holder. Suggest u sell your property at least 50% discount to Bearbear now ...next year is repoman market the biggest winner in industry...if u not dispose now next year will worst ...u sell butt also need to die tongue.gif

Bad enought boh?

50% is just the tip when the crash happen.

It might take 1 year for the price to bottom down to at 90%. I will buy from you when price drop 90%.

Better i start find more ah long contacts and when the time arise, i bollo 10 ah long 100k each and run road to colombia and help plant opium there lor. If not, really dont know what to do if bbw come repo me.....

before that, for safety reason, i better go find a spot and mark my ownership under the bridge first. Later, no place to sleep jialat. Cannot be fighting with those beggars at kaki lima for the space to sleep...
