That means your AmEx is not linked to your M2U.
You better call CS to clarify further.

Few days ago, one of the forummers also mentioned that there is issue linking his AmEx and still unresolved until today...

been calling the CS and she said it only appear after 3 working days

Hi guys, i'm a bit confused by the above.

i've linked my amex to my paypal..

- assuming i'm buying stuff on ebay in USD currency. i purchased an item and pay via paypal.. good to go?
- assuming i'm buying stuff on ebay but set to MYR currency. i purchased an item and pay via paypal which is linked to my amex.. no go?

and if i were to shop online and they are using myr currency. i have to bypass paypal to get the cashback?

i'm hoping someone can help clarify.. tq~

1) Good to go. Pay on Saturday's night (MY time) to ensure your weekend cash back.
2) Not possible using AmEx linked PayPal but possible using VISA/Master Card linked PayPal.
3) If the merchants accept AmEx, then you can straight charge to your card without going through PayPal.

2) but i've manage to link amex with paypal wo. why is it not possible?
3) so local currency we can't get cashback via paypal?

i saw my name... is not inside.
i also spent >rm1k every month.

2) Payment via PayPal in MYR will not go through. AmEx policy. You can try but the payment will not be accepted. For other currencies, not all but I have tried for USD, Euro, SGD, GBP and RMB, they worked.
3) Yes because it cannot go through.

wanna ask if any new Maybank 2 Cards members got their cashback of RM100?

i spend using 3x on Visa, which one time includes a charge of RM10 to link to Paypal, and around 4-5 times on Amex which one time includes a charge of around rm6 for the code to link to Paypal, I got my card on Dec 2014, but haven't seen the cash back yet.

Any ideas ah?

According to the TnC, this was mentioned: The Cashback awarded will be reflected in the Cardmembers monthly credit card statement within 4-8 weeks after the end of the Qualifying Period and upon fulfill of all terms and conditions listed.

same here, I've fulfilled the conditions as well for 3x swipe via Visa and 3x via Amex.

then again I suspect they'll credit it during statement date as mine has yet to be charged rm100 GST anyway. Cashback has been credited though.

For my case:

Apply M2C on Oct, received RM100 cashback on Dec.
