I just recommended my foreign colleague to apply for this card. I was thinking to recommend her Visa Signature or this but after reading Visa Signature, doesn't seem to be that beneficial to her. Both of us will apply for RHB Signature or Alliance credit card after I read it well.

In the end, asked her to apply for Maybankard2Plat. Got the form from KL Sentral branch but we are going to KLCC tomorrow for dinner, not sure if the 1-hour approval still applicable in KLCC?

Another question on the GST, though I understand that it is RM 100 for 2 cards. Is there any way to waive it with minimal swipes? Sorry, I'm totally outdated these days. Appreciate your advice.

Just called for the iPhone 6 thingy again, apparently 250 units and they have 200+ RSVP now. They have stopped taking RSVP.

If epicentre has more stock on that day, then will have more than 250 units.

These days you will need to call Maybank and inform them that you will need to add PayPal to your AmEx.

Different policy now. We are free to purchase any phone as we like and company will subsidize up to RM 800. We get to keep the phone.

I didn't receive this email as well and based on the sharing from this thread, I RSVP through phone call. He did ask me for my Maybank cc number, I just gave my AmEx Gold. Probably he won't check and assumed whoever called has Plat?

Updates to those wanna go for iPhone 6 event:

1) Basically this is an exclusive event for those high spenders, premium users. So, rightfully speaking only those got invitation are eligible for this event.

2) However, this news has been spread widely and Maybank cannot check one-by-one if you are a high spender or premium user. So, at least make sure you are using Platinum card, else the chances to get one eventually are pretty low.

3) The stocks are very limited, especially for 64GB and 128GB. Most stocks are for 16GB variant.

Lastly, good luck everyone. I'm not sure if I should still go... Maybe I should at 4.00 p.m. since my boss allows my colleague and I to leave office earlier on that day for this event.
