Might wanna flush my radiator and put coolant + filtered water.
Hoping that efficient cooling may save some fuel. Engine oil may work better with lower temperature.

U think my FC (fuel consumption) is good??? rclxub.gif
I think it's bad ... I used to get 500++km with hi-way and city driving. Normal city driving can reach 450km.

Your car is auto ... suspect only 4 speed gear (?) ... not sure on this. So consume more fuel.
I use Ceratec Liqui Moly and hoping for my 450 - 500km full tank ... fail.... I suspect other thing need to check.
Make sure radiator cooling is efficient.. for engine oil to perform better. If oil burnt may leave gooyie substance.
Open engine oil cap. Use torchlight and see inside to check.

Flush out your old water...usually with brown rust inside. Use coolant + filtered water. I use the water filtered thru kitchen filter ... good for drinking must also be good for radiator. Mechanic flush out for Rm15 as labour. I bring my own coolant and filtered water.

If your engine not leaking oil .... try to use fully or semi syn oil. If have the extra money ... add in Ceratec liqui moly. Ceratec last 50,000 km. ..that's 10x oil change. At rm150/10 = Rm15 per oil change. I think it;s worth it.

I have a question for sifus here... Plz help notworthy.gif

I recently changed my aircon compressor and filter. However, the radiator cooling fan always stops when aircon condensor fan is ON. Why? I tot the 2 systems are not connected at all. rclxub.gif

I noticed this problem when driving on NKVE ... temp gauge was high. Stop at the R&R to check. Radiator fan was not running. Switch off aircon, the radiator fan was running again. Temp gauge keep dropping as I drive.
So continue journey without aircon. Better I sweat than engine overheat. ....
Sigh ... car lover...what to do? blush.gif

Wira 1.5 auto is like that one because only have 3 forward gears. Leak exhaust system also lead to high fc. Get your exhaust system completely checked and weld back any leak. Remove the catalytic converter also helps to reduce fc at cost of polluting the air. But i think its fine to remove it as catalytic converter most likely damaged after 10 years of usage. Who knows getting full exhaust system check can solve your exhaust smell issue too. smile.gif

My car is 15 years old. IF my car can perform at 450 - 500km full tank, don't mind hv it for the sake of environment.
Maybe my convertor need to change to improve performance. biggrin.gif

Settled my engine light issue by changing one kilo meter switch behind my odometer, and reconnected back my temperature sensor, by one skillful mechanic.

Next maintenance step for my old wira will be absorber.

bosses here got any quality absorber to introduce ?
How to tell if we neeed to change our spring?

@mxsteven with a big compressed "bomb" behind your boot, what absorber set up you have for your car?

Only heard or ppl remove it, cause that piece of platinum worth fair bit of money, so many demand for that.
and petrol head want smoother flow. Let us know if you find what price it cost, so can bargain with exhaust installer next time when they want to take mine away.
