I wonder Windows 8 and above didn't max CPU, like this Windows 10TP, my 2nd PC CPU max at 89% ~ 90% most.

There are way to unlock this?

Core 2 Duo can't handle win10 perhaps? or you got lot of app running in background

LOL... I dont know why, I overclock to 3181MHz (3.1GHz)
but task manager only show 2.94GHz, Windows totally ignored my overclock settings on BIOS,
boot Ubuntu, overclock is worked,

Windows 10 Technical Preview Build 9888....is leaked....

damn my Hyper-V suddenly refuse to get its network working.
Everything checked, all in place but no internet inside my VM.

got the leaked build 9888. will get it running in a while.

edit: tada.. posting via w10.tp.9888 in vm. so far all drivers from w8.1 are still working without issues. however i tried but couldn't install dotnet framework 3.5.



MS started to make minor changes, but not really important yet.

Try dotnet framework 4.5.2

yes i will try it out tomorrow, including the offline installer for .net 3.5.sp1

the thing that works is to enable features offline with the command, Dism /online /enable-feature /featurename:NetFx3 /All /Source:<installer.drive.letter>:\sources\sxs /LimitAccess with windows 10 install media. (source: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2734782)

4.5.2 couldn't be installed because w10 has 4.6 preview. 3.5.sp1 offline installer did not work also because it will direct you to the windows features dialogue.

edit: this time i screwed the boot menu up (went into a blank screen after selecting to boot into w10.tp), used bcdedit /enum all to check and found out duplicate entries. removed them all and recreated a new entry solved the boot issue.

windows 10 just a technical preview, which is like Alpha stage of the OS. If you want to try out the new Win 10 you can install for free. But bear in mind Technical Preview are not meant for daily operating system.

yes. cosmetic changes have started, starting from OOBE. (plain white background; very bright) everything is getting simpler looks.
