it's always better to have more than 4gb for a 64bit os. the system will run smoother because it has less chance to use pagefile. it's an affordable upgrade.

Microsoft suspends Windows Insider builds briefly as it preps for Windows 10 launch.

In the next 24hrs:
-Builds 10162 and 10166 will no longer be offered over Windows Update, and whatever build you're on will show as "up to date" if you check for new builds.
-ISOs for build 10162 will be taken down from the http://insider.windows.com site, and pre-release keys will no longer activate builds.

I'm still using 4GB for my desktop. I do not have photoshop though (which needs a lot of memories I believe) but the rest I think you can survive with 4GB except you do a lot of multitakings as the same time.

2GB RAM for Windows 10, 512MB for iGPU RAM and the rest is for your program running.

RTM will still be released on 29th to Insiders as Terry said:
"Starting on July 29, we will start rolling out Windows 10 to our Windows Insiders."

For now they want Insiders to update using Windows Update to stress test its release channel.
But fret not, ISOs will still be made available again in the future.

will just wait until rtm final is out. i tried to grab adk 10 just now but there were a lot of errors generated by adksetup.exe (like retry loops) :/

if i copied the urls and pasted them in the web browser they could be downloaded.

I just installed win 10 pro insider preview. hahaha. Spartan does not like youtube. Downloading is weird that it seems unresponsive to most downloads requests.

ms.edge is too slim for me. i still prefer firefox due to its flexibility to put the profile directories elsewhere in the system.

Chrome seems much faster.

Yes chrome is faster, but because it's in the way of my backup thing so i leave it out from install list on my work computers.

edit: windows updates just pushed out nvidia gpu driver 353.50.

You can wait to see how things go.
But make sure to update within a year from launch date to get the free upgrade.

yes, you can.

Chrome is good but resource hungry..

it's better to observe more before you jump in. you don't need to wait for so long. as long as the hardware drivers and software you use most are ready, you should be good to go.

all r ready just the question of market adaptation and the compatibility with others... if it doesnt bitch up like xp to 7..then fine.

i am used to w8.x. to me there are just very minor changes here and there. the transition is quite painless.
