anyone face Start button isn't working ??

Thanks to Windows 8.1 i can see how much big is the update > untick > hide it > only choose important update. But its already a past.

I hate Windows Update for Windows 10. No freedom.

how can I enter the setting without using start menu and notification center?? ..Coz my start menu and notification center aren't working ..... i think i gonna revert back to win8.1 ..win10 is too buggy

It seems many ppl also facing this issue ..Do u guys face it after doing clean install or refreshing pc ?

I have signed out my old account that was associated with my email..Now , the start menu is working again , laptop smoother than ever now. But , I found that some of my personal settings are gone...
I think those who are lazy t perform clean install r refreshing pc can try t create a new LOCAL account ...Now , all the problems i faced before seems gone..

oh my now i understand. i never used ms.account for os. local account is always the best to run os. our internet connectivity is still not that optimal for this kind of operations.

Guys. I successfully installed Win10. Looks nice and got good start button.

Lol.... But some files and settings seems gone... Some files which I placed them on desktop had missing.. Where to find back these files?

Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > Advance Option > Un thick give me updates for other Microsoft products when I update windows.

Cool. Thanks. It works. Thanks alot. But it came back again after that. I changed it to compatible with Window7 now and it work back. Hopefully its ok.

This will stop all the office updates from showing up on auto update or other Microsoft products

yeah because it's another profile. you should have backed up all the files before you switched the account. i'm not sure if your files have been synchronized to your ms.account. if they're not, well, you might need to run recuva to see if you can recover them.

Is the tcp/ipv4 section being ticked?
EDIT: or is it you're using VPN connection?
