Got into accident last July. Done police report and result was that guy kena saman.

Then I submit Lou to his insurer. Then today I called the insurer to ask the status of my claim. The staff told me I cannot claim bcos the guy don't have valid driving license. Whatttt?!?? Really cannot ah? Not my fault he didn't have driving license

Can. Tell them u will report to bnm for denying ur claim.

The people requested rm1300 for collection of the report.. what a day light robbery 😱

sergeant passed the report to tow guy. the tow guy said he bribed the sargeant already. if want report have to give rm 1300

No. U go to the pokice station. Ask wanna buy the report again at the counter. Go say the tow truck want rm1300.


Anyway. Did the tow truck tow ur car? If yes, call ur insurance how to settle this.

Yeah. Alternative ly you can inform them that u need to use the car.

The reason is that anythjng could happen after 1 week. Lagi teruk accident so the damage that they ahv to repair maybe more.

Let say my car at workshop since 1-11-2019 but its not yet finished repaired. When should I submit claim of use?

claim of use?......u mean lost of use ah?
remember can only do claim for lost of use after completion of car repair, after they release car back to u, workshop will provide u a letter/document to attach for claim process.

Need to submit a lot of document:
a) Demand letter with breakdown of claim – you need to prepare an official letter state the request

b) A copy of your vehicle registration card

c) A copy of your insurance policy schedule

d) A copy of your Identity Card and Driving Licience

e) A copy of your driver’s Identity Card and Driving Licience

f) A copy of police finding/summon

g) A copy of police sketch plan

h) A copy of third party insured police report

i) A copy of your police report

j) Photographs after repair

k) Scene of accident photograph

One of my friends told me earlier that you can't claim insurance if you met an accident in Genting Highland because after the guard house is considered private road. Can anyone confirm this?

as long as the private property is publicly accessible and people keep using it, it will be covered.

So accident at parking midvalley will be covered.

confused... usually u can get the police report on the spot, "keputusan" or investigation result will take some time if they need to do some investigation etc

i took me almost 2 weeks to get it... u need to keep following up with polis assigned to your case or just go counter ask everyday

pay around RM20... u can get the result.. who is at fault.. picture.. etc printed for you

the tow truck is from your insurance company... or some random guy appear after the accident ?
