hi, saigetsu the wise one......

today i've hand in all documents needed for lost of claim at the counter
(including receipts of car rental rm75 x 14days = rm1050),
but the staff told me according to bank negara guideline, I will only get to claim max amount of rm30 per day for 14days..... sweat.gif ....is this true?

is there anyway I can get them to increase the amount to rm75 per day instead of just rm30?
seriously, where do they expect to get car rental of rm30 per day?

adoi, just received offer letter....they only offer RM30 x 7days = RM210, instead of actual 14days which my car was in workshop.

I even include receipts of car rental (rm75 x 14days = rm1050) during LOU submission, why they only offer claim of RM210 so low?

now need to write letter to decline their offer n ask for more.

possible still got hope to fight to increase higher claim?

YIIPEEEE!!!!.....1 week after my appeal letter to them, today they finally offer me the full amount I asked for.
seriously, the 1st offer they gave was a friggin low ball.....lucky can get back my car rental money.

I claim loss of use 2 months after the accident also they ask why.....in the end, I list down a detail timeline from the day of accident till car fixed to convince them.

3 months?!......that's farked up!.....usually it will take 14 working days for them to reply with offer.
They will low ball you with their 1st offer, u need to Write letter n make appeal, state the period your car was in workshop for repair.

if the budak takde lesen langgar you take the service of tos tow truck people, tow truck people have their way to settle it, by using another person as driver to make the polis report....then no problem, u can claim his insurance.

if not, budak takde lesen langgar you only get saman n his car insurance dont have to pay anything.......and you need to use your own insurance and burn your NCD.... sweat.gif

claim of use?......u mean lost of use ah?
remember can only do claim for lost of use after completion of car repair, after they release car back to u, workshop will provide u a letter/document to attach for claim process.
