which method u using? flash update via recovery? if yes, which custom recovery are u using? if its TWRP, try installing the latest version.

Ok. I tried again. I can repeat the error with 4K UHD but cant repeat it with 4K DCI.

Try re flash the 33R via Fastboot method. This will gives u clean install and then update ur 38R OTA via Stock Recovery.

Btw jloi forgot to enable root Explorer in the settings of es file Explorer. So now he did that and can modify system files already. His whatsapp is off for a few minutes now. I guess it's a success?

Thanks everyone feedback especially abang lowyard whatsapp me all the way and teach me! Finally managed flash 38R with no problem.

- I forgot check in enable root in ES explorer option(actually i know there is such option but couldn't find where it is).
- after check in, replace 33R keyguard apk in system
- then proceed flash to unmodified 38r via TWRP
- error gone
