Time to change brother. New rig

Dota 2 now becomes more and more demanding for both CPU and GPU, but lucky for you, i have a rig up for sale which would Destroy dota 2 in max settings no problem and will continue to do so for the next few more years, if you are interested, heres the link for my rig :

Go for the 4GB cost around RM6xx... Try to skip the 2GB version!

Hi,
may i know why?
i've check on the internet and saying the opposite way.
no need to go for 4GB, as it wont give you a lot of different except the money.

If its true the pricing for the 6c/12t Ryzen is cheaper than i7 7700k, I'll be building an AMD rig almost as soon as it's sold here.

Probably too soon to tell, but I'm sitting on a pile of money i was gonna spend on a new phone. Well, looks like i'll go back to using 3310. That money is now reserved for Ryzen.

But what about AM4 boards variables? Did you consider that in your calculation? Do we have an inkling how much they'll be here?

Let's hope this is like the days when Athlon XP was launched and they are fighting life and death with Intel to be the first to break the Ghz barrier.

Let AMD reclaim their glory.

Yeah... more especially if it is 90% of the performance and 70% of the price.

Not to mention that they are responding to Ryzen which means AMD must be poking at the right spots this time around

To be frank, Intel is like Apple and AMD is Samsung. hmm.gif

And no matter what, price is really a deciding factor cause you don't only please the high-end user but also midrange and budget category as well.

Yeah, 8-core for the price of a quad core. Single core performance good or not. Still mind blowing.

I don't think Intel is like Apple and AMD is Samsung or Google for that matter.

It is just that Intel needs AMD to stay competitive in the performance front of things. Without AMD, you see them veering into optimization, low power efficient processors and stuff. Whether it is just delay tactics or not wanting to spend money where they think they should be buying time. I don't know.

But, Intel needs AMD to push them. That is a fact. Used to be a fact back then, still a fact by now.

Can agree with you but as usual AMD needs to proof it this year and I can bet Ryzen is promising enough just need to lower it's price cannot rely on USD currency haha.
