Hi all,

i have ASW2020, i saw CIMB can create an account for it but so far, the system do not let me add.

Do you guys usually got to bank or PM to buy units or we can do it online too?

I think no problem if no activity unlike banks account..  how to have activity if always need to try luck & most time no unit available  shakehead.gif

Fair point, but interesting question also...does bank treat these funds as your typical savings acct? i.e. close after inactivity for a certain period of time

My guess is one way to keep your acct active is to keep the book updated at least once a year when the dividend is announced.

the best is to update yearly basis, but some kinda forget they have ASNB fund passbook... that's why we see some didn't update for years or misplaced the passbook yawn.gif

I heard that updating passbook does not count as an activity as far as the 7 yrs in-active account goes.

Need to have account holder doing withdrawal or deposit transactions.

Yes, weird ruling. That is what I heard form my wife who used to work in a bank.

Cheerio.

Sure worth it because ASB have the highest dividend rate among fixed price ASNB funds rclxms.gif

and u are not alone that want to closed the ASD account because a lot of people already closed their account (u can see y-o-y the total unitholders reducing by huge numbers) compare with others ASx funds nod.gif

I think what you said more for bank SA/FD acct. For UT, I have UT acct which is way more than 7 yrs and keeps on rolling (with dividends). Just receive yearly update on the status. Various UT from different banks. smile.gif
