- Your rig: phone. got a hippo+ DAC but rarely used them for phone
- What type of usage: music
- File format used in your source: mp3, some flacs
- Genre of music you listen to: rnb, ballad, pop
- Headphone/ earphone type: iem
- Other requirements: decent. I own a DJ monitor audio technica headphone but forgot the model number. with my budget the iem shouldn't be able to outperform the headphone but should at least be subpar? lol
- Budget; cheap and affordable. max budget for me is sadly rm70 only.

thanks in advance!

I took the recommendation without trial of the earphone. indeed the sound stage is wide and good but it is not really comfortable for long period of listening (or my ear shape problem? rclxub.gif ).

I got purple color from Lazada for <RM100.

Any recommendation for in-ear buds or earphones?

Mainly using for purpose of listening to spotify on my iPhone 5s- no further amp

Currently using the apple earbuds which to me is already quite good as it's not muddy and good clarity

Tried the klipsh X11i but it only gives me a small step up (in my opinion) of quality is not worth that >1000 bucks price tag.

Just wondering any small in ear buds or ear phones that are below 600ish that surely is better than apple earbuds

Already own an audio technica es7 but seldom used as headphones not convenient for me to carry around.

Rig: Any brands such as Philips, JVC, etc.
Type of usage: Music + Working (talk on phone)
File format: mp3
Genre: Any light songs
Headphone type: Over ear (to minimize surrounding noise)
Other requirements: With microphone (need to communicate on phone via laptop) preferably invisible type
Budget: Below RM350

Is there any good recommendation from above? I'm thinking to get from any PC shop such as All IT. Not sure I will get any good ones though. Most headphones nowadays do not come with mic.

Hi guys, I bought a pair of Bayerdynamic XP3's only to realize that my ears cannot tolerate IEM's (instant tinnitus after using just ONCE at slightly above medium volume). (I've never used IEMs before apart from apple ear pods)

How much do you think I can sell it off (no hygiene issues since the rubber bits can be replaced right?) for?

Also, I'm planning to get either a m30x or m40x to replace them, which one should I choose since the price diff is about RM60 ish? I listen mainly to acoustic/vocal heavy/instrumentals and I never go near EDM or heavy metal etc.

BTW I don't usually listen at loud volumes. I have been using headphones for a few years without any issues, only when I first started using IEMs the problem started

Hi there, I am looking for a new earphone since the one I have now is not working anymore. My budget is around RM100.

Rig: I am using it with my pc mostly, sometimes on my phone.
Usage: Gaming 65%, movies 30%, music 5%

The ones that I am considering now are xiaomi's Rose Gold In-Ear Headphone for RM50 and Brainwavz Delta IEM with mic and remote for USD27.50 (www.mp4nation.net)

Which one should I get or are there any other better suggestions? Thanks biggrin.gif

Hi sifus, there's a chance I might have some extra budget this month to add another can to my small (small is overstating it I just have one tongue.gif ) collection.

Can you guys give suggestions which headphone would best complement the HD800? From my own reading I would guess it's the LCD2 but I've always been in love with the beautiful Fostex TH900 too (it's just visual lust though).

My current chain is optical out from my SB Omni to Matrix Mini-I (2014 ver) > Audio GD Precision 2 > 4-pin XLR HD800

Also wondering if I should just use the money to buy a better DAC. Personally I doubt a DAC would make a significant difference though.

Dear sifus

Could you all please recommend me a headphone (over the ear).
Prefer wireless/bluetooth.
Mainly to listen to classical music; for my pregger wifey(or baby) and also my future relaxation.
If possible, budget less than rm300.

Many thanks in advance to all sifus!

- Your rig - mostly be using for my phone, may use to desktop as well
- What type of usage - music, gaming and maybe movies. Will use for exercise (jogging) too
- File format used in your source - I'm not sure myself
- Genre of music you listen to - a mix of all, but not much of a country music though
- Headphone/ earphone type - earphone
- Other requirements - will be using underneath a helmet, as I am riding to my workplace. also be use for navigation

I'm looking at either Jaybird Bluebuds X and Klipsch S4 Rugged. Used to own S4 Rugged, one of the best earphone I had. It was decommissioned too early due to an accident. I'm open to any suggestions though biggrin.gif
