QUOTE(nonamer @ Dec 8 2023, 10:55 AM) but is it really high treble or balanced? i havent tried any iem yet but i read that even Chu is like balanced/neutral only instead of really good in treble better go in-store and test it out.high treble is something like the Ugreen black earphone (but too bad it has bad clarity) want good in treble then find something with balanced armature driver. generally BA driver has better treble. |

im looking for "open" earphone?
i first noticed Bose made this as a sunglass. but then i saw more and more people wearing similar type of earphone without the eyeglass. can someone tell me the history of this? and recommend me an open earphone. i will use it heavily for cycling. so need something light and durable. |

Hi, currently using bluetooth in-ear earphones (Haylou GT5). Place to use is in my own room only. Watching youtube video while listening to music while doing work on my PC. Thinking of buying an over-ear headphones because my TWS always run out of battery in 2-3 hours or so. And wearing in-ear TWS gets kinda itchy after a few hours.
- Budget: RM200~RM250 - Rig: PC (bluetooth connection) - Headphone type: Over ears headphone. Not sure closed or open is better. Which one fits for ASMR better would be nicer. Primary features I care about the most: - Comfort number one. Must be comfortable to wear for long periods of time. May even use for ASMR - Sound quality should be nice enough. Dont have to be the best of best. - Good-ish battery: can last for at least 24 hours or so? not using 24/7 but assume going to use for around 3 hours a day on weekday and 12 hours on weekends. Just extra: - ANC I dont care so much about but a good bonus - If bluetooth have auto off if nothing playing after a while is good too - If bluetooth can connect to two devices at the same time would be nice too |

Hi all, planning to invest in some good IEM and looking for some recommendations:
- Your rig: Desktop/Samsung phone mainly - What type of usage: Music - File format used in your source: flac, mp3 - Genre of music you listen to: Pop - Headphone/ earphone type: IEM - Other requirements (if any): Supports both 3.5mm and 4.4mm balanced connector I prefer slightly more bass in my music. Able to support balanced cable is a must as last time I tried an IEM (I think its Fiio but forgot which model) with balanced cable and that made day and night difference compared to the other 3.5mm IEMs. It would be great if I can get some recommendations at a few budget ranges: - <1k - 1-2k - <3.5k And I have plans to pair it up with DAC in the future so would like the IEM to be able to take advantage of that as well to get better sound quality. Thanks in advanced! |

Hi everyone
I plan to get a new wireless headphone with ANC. I have budget around RM1k. - Wireless - ANC - App control - most importantly can fold and compact (easy to carry around in the bag) So far, here some I found might fit my budget a. Sony WH-1000XM5 (2nd hand, cost around 1k) b. Edifier 950NB c. Sennheiser Accentum d. Bose Quiet Comfort 45 (might need to search for 2nd hand) is there any brand and model I should consider/look at? For Bose and Sony, how to check their authenticity if buying 2nd hand? |

I can't decide between steelseries arctis 7+ or the new Nova 5.
I kinda want both wired and wireless or go purely wireless is okay? Both of them are using 2.4 and nova 5 have extra bluetooth as well. .. tough choice |

A light bulb turned on my head when I was putting the rubber band to tie the NX4 and my phone. Why not put magnetic ring on the NX4 since my phone case also have the magnetic ring. I already have the magnetic ring and just need to add double sided tape. 5 minutes later:
![]() The magnet is strong enough that some mild to hard shake will not separate it but really hard force will. It's good enough for me since I only need the two to be together when I move it from one place to another. |
