Been using TP-Link TD-W8980 for the past year (replaced the crappy Innacom one that TM provided)...So far, quite satisfied, no issues...Wifi range is good, normally 5-6 devices connected...

IMO, Tplink is worth considering...I'm sure there are newer models out though, so look em up... smile.gif

What you need is MIMO routers instead of dual band routers for multiple devices.
Check out TP-Link's routers, they are pretty decent with a low price point (and I don't get paid for saying this btw). tongue.gif

A little puzzled upon googling MIMO, so I should be going for MU-MIMO?

Side note, should replace modem router or just add another wifi router?

U dont need mimo routers for streamyx, its a bit overkill
mimo on 4mbps will get you nowhere, you can even settle for a 150mbps N router (can get >40mbps in practice)
mimo only useful for high bandwidth lines eg. abv 100mbps (almost non existent in msia)

Then it is a bad stat. The download and upload speed is slower than what you should have.
