Anyone noticed a change in their line rate? For the past week, mine has been double of what it used to be, and I did not do any upgrading. However ookla still shows my max dl speed to be around/over 4000kbps. Maybe streamyx has too many 8meg ports lying around, so they shoved me onto one and throttled my connect to 4meg speeds blink.gif

do u know how to disable ipv6 in TM provided Innatech W7100N?
My streamyx is fast on everything... download speed is normally 500KBps... imdb, yahoo movies HD no problem... but youtube is super slow... only watchable at 144p.

EDIT: found it in a hidden setting in WAN.

after you go back to ipv4 only, does the youtube speed back to normal?

I just subscribed streamyx for few months and have been bonded with streamyx through a 2 years contract. So if I wanna terminate the streamyx, how will they charge me?

I see. Thank you so much.

The RM 500 is standard or they actually calculate based on the months left?

Means, jangan lah disconnect sabelum contract tamat , nanti kang hang bayar sampai nak mampui!!!

If your contact is 12 months, and you are into your 4th month , you pay the balance (12-4=) 8 months plus whatever else they decide to charge .

My earlier post of $500 is wrong, that is for unifi.

Hi, to all Sifu. Could you please help me on this. I currently subscribed to streamyx 4Mbps however my upload speed is very slow. Is this because of my upload speed miscap by tm? if yes what should i do? I just start to use streamyx last week.

Normal speed test i only able to get 170kbps in average

Attainable rate is just 277.

Check your ADSL modulation. Your upload stat is quite poor.

Hi, Blacktubi. Thank you for your reply. But what is ADSL modulation. I check through google but cannot understand. doh.gif

I got it. My ADSL is auto Sync but i had tried manually to ADSL2/ADSL2+ result is same but ADSL2 cannot connect to internet. Only ADSL2+ can work

It should be configured to ADSL2+.

Check your wiring, your stats are quite poor. If issue persist, contact TM.

Done ADSL2+. Still same. the wiring is newly install last week. Had replace all the cable from the external tm port. So perhaps the wiring is ok... Just that I was thinking about the speed cap. Is this possible?

There are possibility but I do not think so as your attainable rate is low as well.

I noticed that the attainable rate is different from time to time. However i had contact to the technician who install my line to chk on cap of the upload but he mention that my obtain speed is normal (average 170kbps)...and not able to adjust my limit. which i think is not fair in this situation. Should i call to 100 instead? sad.gif

As I mentioned earlier, there's obvious issue with your wiring. It's new, but your SNR is quite poor.

Check your ADSL filter and try a direct connection.
