Yes ,I know what a pacemaker is. But I don't really think is funny lo to name their club. It has a meaning though if viewed from another angle. Anyway, it's their club and they are doing well, so gotta respect them for their achievement.
Added on April 21, 2007, 12:42 pmNew meeting point for tomorrow's Power Run 2007 at Dataran Merdeka. Will meet up at the fountain area (the one that looks like a flower), beside the traffic light area facing Bangunan DBKL. Run will start off at 7.30am. So we meet up there between 6.30am to 7.15am. Update on our runner's number : Amanda = B1011 Rashid = A036 Phoenix (Frank) = A038 Deadalus (Yam) = A048 p/s: New hairstyle for me. Looks a bit different from my previous pictures. Now look like rambutan head. Very short hair. This post has been edited by phoenix: Apr 21 2007, 01:51 PM |

Added on April 21, 2007, 8:26 pmOK. It's time to rest. Hope to meet up with all of you tomorrow. Will try to redeem myself after last week's run. Good luck to all. Oh yeah... By the way, I heard from pm1's blog that it is a 10.7KM run. This post has been edited by phoenix: Apr 21 2007, 08:26 PM |

Firstly, I apologised to everyone for not being able to meet up at the flower fountain area. I arrived late closed to 7am. Although I did went to the fountain area, I just spent like less than a minute there cause I heard the announcer said it's time to report in. So I dashed to the starting line. Nearly sprain my ankle when one the pavement I stepped on was unbalance. Luckily I did not. *phew*
Anyway, I agree with deadalus that this run is well organised. Except that I don't understand the finish line. Why must there be such a big turn? No wonder the length is 10.7KM + 100M to finish line. Hmm... I was disappointed with the waterstation too. As I drove today, I did not bring my hydration belt with me so I thought I will depend on the waterstation. But when I reached there, the 2 person was taking their own sweet time opening the paper cups plastic cover. Not wanting to waste time, I decided not to drink and proceeded on. My first stop came at the Parliment uphill climb. Took 3 stops there for 5 seconds to 10 seconds each. At the Dataran Merdeka area, I dashed all the way to the finish line and managed to clock 1:02:35. Overall, I'm satisfied with my time. It's better compared to Orange Run. Of the guys here, I was the first to arrive so I thought of waiting for you all at the finish line. That's how I caught deadalus. Hehe... But sadly, I didn't see Amanda. I waited for around 8 minutes before deciding that I need a drink at the refreshement corner. And from there, everyone went missing. Can't spot deadalus or Rashid anymore, so I decided to come home. Now, will have a 2 weeks break before Bomba Run. See you guys there. Added on April 22, 2007, 8:14 pmLatest for the NB KL Run 2007, on 3 June 2007. Registration is now open at selected New Balance Outlet (1 Utama, Bukit Bintang Plaza and Cheras Leisure Mall). Registration fee has been reduced from RM40 to RM30 now. FTAAA is not able to accept any registration for now until further notice. This post has been edited by phoenix: Apr 23 2007, 09:04 AM |

Don't despair my friends. Still have one more month for you to train. I myself is training too. Hope to complete the 15KM run in 90 minutes. That's my target.
I'm not going for Penang Bridge Marathon although I'm tempted to. Will now stick with runs in Klang Valley first. First outstation/oversea marathon outing for me will be this year end's Singapore Standard Chartered Marathon. Going for full 42KM marathon again. Anybody wanna join me? |

QUOTE(deadalus @ Apr 26 2007, 05:44 PM) according to fellow kaki bola, the match is boring. but liverpool use to come back from 3 goal deficit during AC Milan match. So 1-0 is no big deal. Ooh... Lucky I didn't go and call that fella. If not, damn embarass. Ya... I hope they can really make a comeback at fortress Anfield.i only lepak in mamak and never cafe, orang miskin.... QUOTE(Amanda85 @ Apr 26 2007, 06:10 PM) Ya... I was thinking about that too. Not many will wanna buy Nike shoes just to use that thing. So Nike smart lo, go and ban. So nearest place to get is from Singapore. I hope my friend can help Rashid out. |

After conversion, it shouldn't be more than RM50. I think will be around RM30 to RM40 range.

But you need to invest in the Nike+ trasmitter for your iPod which costs RM139 if not mistaken. So total investment is like close to RM200.

http://www.buckeyeoutdoors.com/cgi-bin/tra...log?guest=frank Added on May 3, 2007, 10:45 amJust got back from collecting Bomba Run and NB Pacesetters 15KM stuff. For those not going for Bomba Run, here's how the shirt looks like. I only took the back, cause the front is basically plain. ![]() As for NB Pacesetters 15KM, the vest is now available. However, please call them in advance to enquire on the sizes as currently only S size is available. Here's the picture. ![]() This post has been edited by phoenix: May 3 2007, 10:45 AM |

QUOTE(deadalus @ May 3 2007, 05:59 PM) how come so fast can get the NB 15k running vest? i though it shud be somewhere around mid-may for the collection? Where you collect the item? Hahaha... That's something you didn't know eh. Well... When I joined PACM late March, Jenny asked me to double check with them at the end of April to see whether is the vest ready. If ready, can collect from the office at Old Klang Road. They also understand that it is a bit hassle for certain people to actually go down to Padang Merbok 1 day before the run. Kudos to them! The vest is really of good quality. |

![]() I hope this map will be able to help. As Amanda said, the turning to the left is just before the Hyundai Service centre. It's pretty big, won't miss it. Turn left and follow the road. You will eventually climb a small uphill. From there, you will see run-down low-cost flats (almost black in colour). Just park around there and find Block C (the second block). PACM office is at the ground floor almost to the end. They are sharing their office with someone, hence the sign is a very small one pasted on the glass. By the way, their door is blue in colour. |
