Sorry... Was away the whole day. Even went to United Akrab to check out some Polar HRMs. Anyway, what do you mean by "runners knee"?

Attention for those who have the NB 15KM vest. The maroon colour vest, the colour will fade. Poor Rashid encountered it first and his clothes all turned pink! I just soaked it in water and in less than 1 minute, the water turned pink. So be careful. Wash your other clothes separetely.

Normal selling price is RM999. But Pacesetters member got 10% discount promotion till 31 May 2007 so I got it for RM899. Plus 2% service charge for credit card so total damage is RM917!

Last 1KM, I up my pace. But it was the last 500M that I sprinted and dashed to the finish line. And at the last 100M, I was running at top speed racing with a female runner, until I can even hear my own footsteps!

QUOTE(washabushi @ May 21 2007, 02:08 PM) Err... OK lor. I think I remember. But it's meant only to be a joke. But if you took it seriously, it's a good thing too cause it motivated you to your first medal! QUOTE(Amanda85 @ May 21 2007, 02:23 PM) Yeah... We heard rumuors about it but there isn't any confirmation yet. Will drop by at NB outlet to confirm one of these days.QUOTE(washabushi @ May 21 2007, 03:04 PM) Subang Run starts and end at the MPSJ building at Taipan USJ. The route consists of basically no or minimal uphill or downhill and is pretty easy on the legs. However, the qualifying time is 60 minutes.Anyway, I already registered for Subang Run this afternoon. Very excited about this run cause this is the run that I first join last year. This post has been edited by phoenix: May 21 2007, 08:57 PM |

They don't give the certs at the finish line. They will print and mail to you with your name and time on it. And the best part is, I joined the run with 3 of my friends last year and I came second. However, the top 2 did not get our cert and the bottom 2 which one of them did not finish got the cert. Name correct, but time and position wrong. Stupid wan...

Anyway, if the KL Run is postpone, will anyone of you here be free to join in the fun at MSN Training Stadium, Bukit Jalil for National Cancer Society of Malaysia's Relay For Life event? It's a non competitive event and you can walk, jog or run around the track. It's a 16 hour event that will kick off on 6PM, 2 June 2007 and will end on 10am, 3 June 2007. However, you can come at any time and need not stay for 16 hours. I'll be there from 6pm onwards. Hope you guys can join me. More info, please log on to www.cancer.org.my

OK... I already got confirmation on the KL Run. I went to NB outlet at 1 Utama, and they gave me the organiser's number to call. It hasn't been confirm when will the new date be (although he did mention maybe in August), and refunds are not accepted. Reason given is because there is some big government meeting event around KL, and roads won't be seal. For more information, please call Encik Zoo at 019-2573090.

I made myself a running calendar to track upcoming events and also my running records. So according to what I have planned and based on your list, I'm going for Subang 10K, Siemen's Run, Adidas King of the Road, PJ Half Marathon, Mizuno Wave, Singapore Standard Chartered Marathon and also not forgetting the postponed KL Run.

QUOTE(Amanda85 @ May 24 2007, 01:55 PM) hehe...ok, i will try for d adidas....but dun laugh if i'm d last 1 2 reach d finishing line wor... I normally wake up 3 hours before the run. . 30 minutes roll left and right on the bed, 30 minutes to feed my dogs and another 2 hours to prepare for the run. Here's a little tip. I will take a sip of cold plain water cause this will start to stir my stomach. From here, I can clear my bowels. As for minutes before the run, I always need to pee cause I will hydrate myself with water.btw....everytime b4 d run start, i really feel like wan 2 poo wan....but veli difficult la, coz d mobile toilet so dirty n so many ppl Q-ing... mayb next time i shld wake up 2 hour earlier to clean my bowel.. I'm happy that you will try for Adidas. Just try and no harm even if you don't finish it. We won't laugh at you, but instead, we will be proud of you. See, you have so much backing from each of us. |

Saw from PM1's site indicating that the KL 10K Run is postponed to 22 July 2007 at Taman Melawati. Not sure how true though.
