Actually not that concerned about quality, or at least not to that extent.

Problem still exist when I'm making a custom layout with about 70 switches compatible, but in the end I still need to prototype the thing, which is best done using acrylic, IMO.

That's what I'm afraid off. Novelty caps sink way more money than buying another keyboard IINM. Will try to stop after I got my preferred colour scheme.  nod.gif

It does. And it's a scary hole to start digging. There is no end and it's addictive. Lol.

if novelties sink you in, then you are just wasting money and being reckless. do not give in to buying jacked up prices for those caps. if you still do, then please dig as deep as you can, stay down there and never come back to us again. you deserve it. tongue.gif

so i got this problem. drink nescafe and terbatuk. spilled some on the numpad. ducky 3 brown switch.

removed the keycaps, clean some with toilet paper. sprayed some contact cleaner into the switch. let it dry for a couple minutes. then plug it back.

what happen is 1 2 4 5 7 8 numlock / on the numpad is not working individually. if i hold 2 keys on the numpad, suddenly everything works as long as i hold 2 keys..

whats wrong? is this kb kaput?

try pushing in the shift key more.
if it's already snugged in properly, then it's probably the cherry stab not sitting properly or you have to do the clip mod on the stabs.

most of the time you would have to push it in harder and further to make you feel better.

So, will Tenso email me after they verify my identification? Also, do I have to wait until the verification from Tenso before ordering from Amazon JP or can I just order it now?

I think you need to wait for verification from Tenso, because you will need the address provided by Tenso to ship your stuff to.

Ah, I actually already got the address as soon as I registered. I guess the verification of ID doesn't matter much. Another question though, Tenso is currently closed on weekend, so should I order tomorrow when it opens or should I order today to save some time of shipping between Amazon to Tenso? I do have a Free same day Amazon Prime shipping(Though I don't think it matters since they're closed atm).

Yeah, the HHKB I wanted have only 3 hours left. I guess I'll just order it now then.
