Damn, I paid RM900+ for my Realforce 87U(from Elitekeyboard) when I could've gotten a HHKB for a much cheaper price.[V25] Lowyat.Net Mechanical Keyboard Club

QUOTE(quovadis123 @ Aug 28 2014, 01:50 AM) But you got a legendary switch 55g keyboard whereas amazon jp don't have this keyboard. I really like the 55g weight and glad that I didn't go for 45g one because it might be too light. Though, I do agree with most people that describe the switch as a superior/refined rubber dome, kinda make it not worth what I paid for. Overall, I'm still satisfied with it.HHKB using 45g Topre only. Do you like your current keyboard? Nice to type on? This post has been edited by nemesis94: Aug 28 2014, 02:12 AM |

Aside from being sturdier than the stock case, is there any difference between a standard Poker 2 and an alu case Poker 2? Does the key sounds different on alu?

EDIT: Anyone planning to sell their Korean custom 60%/modded poker 2 with alu, do PM me the price. Planning to order a 60% custom(Probably Duck Eagle) if there's no seller here. This post has been edited by nemesis94: Aug 30 2014, 06:26 AM |

Yeah, I've done numerous transaction with Paypal using my debit and I've never encountered any problem with it.Well, everything is fast, even you do purchase using Paypal, your phone (mobile number of your Debit card) should alert you with SMS once there's transaction through Paypal. |

Might be OT here, but what kind of courier service is the cheapest and safest that is available globally? Bought a keycap from an individual from US and he quoted shipping price up to USD70 for it and I think it's pretty absurd for an item <100g

Sifus here that have both Topre and Ergo clear 60+g switches, which switch do you prefer?I currently own a 87u 55g and was planning to try an Ergo Clear switches and I also just got an invoice for Korean Duck Eagle which I'm very interested with. I'm just afraid that I might end up selling the ergo clear after investing so much on it.

QUOTE(quovadis123 @ Sep 3 2014, 11:01 PM) https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...post&p=68960984 Damn, I'm still tempted to buy the Duck Eagle. Luckily the seller give me some time to think first.or summon kaiserreich for more guidance. QUOTE(yuktsi14 @ Sep 3 2014, 11:06 PM) The feeling of ergo clear depends very much on the tuner. I have tried both ergo switches tuned by GON and some anonymous, the feeling is very different. Personally, I would prefer the clear switches tuned by GON/myself over topre 55g. When you said tuned, is it the same meaning as lubed? I'm probably going to buy the lubed stickered 62/67g clears from GON.Here's a review on the keyboard fully tuned by me. Nerd TKL EDIT: Since the price of Clear switches from GON for 60+ pcs are USD45.50 unlubed unstickered and around $80+ for lubed stickered and custom spring, will it be cheaper to just buy the lubed stickered instead of unlubed and buying the lube+sticker on its own? I already ordered a 62g+68g korean springs from Sprit in GH. This post has been edited by nemesis94: Sep 3 2014, 11:24 PM |

QUOTE(yuktsi14 @ Sep 3 2014, 11:31 PM) Definitely cheaper to lube and sticker yourself. But GON is one of the best tuner Are the lubes available locally or do I have to buy lubes online too? If I buy separately, the price will be around $60 and I guess it will be worth the extra $20 since GON is pretty good at tuning and it will reduce the risk of mistake I'll probably gonna make if I tune it on my own?I would recommend you to do it yourself, it's fun |

Yeah, from Clack Valuation thread a few pages back, someone said that the price for Drunken is around that price and when I start joining the bidding, people are already maxing at $200, so I just wait for last min and bid.

QUOTE(wildwestgoh @ Sep 5 2014, 03:04 PM) Wow, don't tell me it's $200 (USD) per keycap? That's kinda... ridiculous? $200 is pretty much the mid end type of keycap. It usually goes for $40~ retail with very limited available, so basic supply and demand. I do agree the aftermarket price is ridiculous. Will never ever comprehend it.... |

QUOTE(belfong @ Sep 5 2014, 04:54 PM) Forget CC and BB. I actually manage to get on time for both the KBK and nubbinator's artisan, but when I tried to submit my post exactly at the sale time, I got an error saying that there's a new post from those threads and failed to submit it. The error goes on for quite a while which make me fail to qualify in the sale. Is it a normal error on GH? Pretty new there.KBK Mummy 2 is the thing now! I was fortunate to get in on his 2nd sale; missed out the first one. So sad... Here are PolterGeist and IceGeist.
