I'm not entirely sure. Though, the black HHKB have only 4 units left, so I have to buy it quickly nonetheless.

Yeah, the HHKB I wanted have only 3 hours left. I guess I'll just order it now then.

Already tried a black on black keys on my Realforce so I'm gonna try the blank version. Moreover, black with lime/toxic green looks so much better than the white version IMO.

But the blank white keys or printed white keys on a black case is very beautiful!
You might as well order the caps and save shipping cost smile.gif

Want to ask sifu here..Actually i'm new to mechanical keyboard. I've read the 1st page about the differences about switches.
I'm looking for the switches which is quiet when i press the key, is it the MX black switches should i look for?
Whats the meaning of tactile?

I'm not poisoning you bro.
I'm trying to help you save money.
Because one month after using HHKB, you will want the blank white caps.

linear switch (red, black) and tactile (brown) are also quite silent switches.

Tactile = you will experience a bump upon reach the actuation force.

Take a look at both MX Black (linear) and MX Brown (tactile). You will notice MX Brown (tactile), "pin" moved 2 times when the switch is pressed.
The tactile bump/feedback notify the keyboard user the key is pressed.
So, tactile switch is good for typing use.

so i got this problem. drink nescafe and terbatuk. spilled some on the numpad. ducky 3 brown switch.

removed the keycaps, clean some with toilet paper. sprayed some contact cleaner into the switch. let it dry for a couple minutes. then plug it back.

what happen is 1 2 4 5 7 8 numlock / on the numpad is not working individually. if i hold 2 keys on the numpad, suddenly everything works as long as i hold 2 keys..

whats wrong? is this kb kaput?

there's simply too many steps and too many possibilities. here is a guide to help troubleshoot, if not fix your problem>> Ripster's Keyboard Spill Guide

I probably end up buying the Blank white caps in the future since don't have good budget to add the caps for now. Anyway, just ordered my HHKB from Amazon just now after several misorder and cancellation due to payment method. Hopefully Tenso will get the order tomorrow and update me. Next stop, Dental bands and probably Krytox lube.

Ya. Either Linear like Red or Black or soft Tactile like Brown are also quiet.
Black is heavier version of linear switch. If you want lighter version, then choose for Red.
Preferable, you go and test the switch in store first, to see which you prefer more.

Btw I would say BSP is the same as Cherry OG, please don't follow the GHer saying.
Most of them, I bet, never tried to compare and start to blindly saying, or maybe for the sake of following OGness.
Pure bullshit.

I buy, I try, I speak.
