Went to Watami@1 Utama on the 28-Nov since my birthday month & card anniversary month are on Nov. Final bill after 5% discount was RM128.40.
Transaction was posted on 29-Nov together with another transaction with description payment adjusted of RM80 which should be the RM30-birthday-treat & rm50-anniversary-treat. Now waiting for the 10% rebate of rm12.84 to be shown in the next statement. All in all paid rm35.56 for a meal of rm135.

Me too. still having problem viewing e-statement

Base on my latest statement:
Watami Bill:    rm128.40 (after 5% discount)
-birthday treat: rm30.00
-anniv. treat:    rm50.00

There are two credits which I don't understand, ie.
10% Watami Cash Rebate of RM4.84 (I thought should be 10% of rm128.40)
Watami Dining Credit Rebate of RM48.40. (which works out same as rm128.40-rm30-rm50, so it is a free meal?)

I actually made rm4.84 for the dinner.

I faxed in my Watami application, after waited one week, call check status then the CS not allowed by fax. They need original signed copy. Either send to branch or by mail.

Ok Fine, got trolled by previous CS asking to fax in and given me their number too.

Then walk in branch and ask them to send back to HQ. Ok, they blur blur dont know what is "WATAMI" call here call there to check. I dont blame them coz they dont use Watami as i know Watami Restaurant is non halal.

Now almost one week, no phone call no update in status.

my Q is, how long they normally process my watami application?

I submitted through branch (Midvalley) at the beginning of the monthly statement cycle and it's reflected in the next statement (Dec). It's quite fast. Haven't tried email though.

nope, i just emailed to inform them that there is a problem with the e-statement and the reply i received was they are unable to reply due to security reason.

so i replied back stating I was highlighting a general issue. I also added that, the email will serve as a notice that I shall not be liable for any late charges due to this matter. Few minutes later, they email  the e-statement to me. Security reason konon.

Submit my watami application on 24th Nov, received card on the 4th Dec
Gold card submit on 1st Dec, received on 11th...

From now onwards to get e-statement earlier we need to 'threaten' them officially through email!

the funny thing is i didn't even provide my CC no and real name in my email

Yes, I did that for the pass 3 months. Just fill the redemption form, sign, scan and email them. It will credit on statement date.
In fact I pre-filled all details using adobe acrobat editor... just print and sign every month. 
Or, maybe can do digital signature, then no need printing at all. 
I guess they traced based on your email id. You must have emailed them with your e-statement registered email id.
