anyone tried to waive the annual fees for New Aeon Gold credit card?
As for watami it will be waived with every 12 swipes.

Basically applying this card for the BT 6 months 0% interest.

However for the 2nd year annual fees of Rm95, do have anyone here successfully waived off for Aeon New Gold CC?
I'm still considering between Aeon New Gold or Aeon Watami since the main purpose is to do BT.

And guess what, i just applied for Aeon New Gold and Aeon Watami yesterday at Mid valley branch.

Let's see how the progress goes.

Last Tuesday on 18th Nov i applied for both Aeon Watami and Aeon New Gold.
Yesterday i called customer service and they haven't receive anything and nothing appear in the system.
So i called MV branch and asked, the documents were still there and i threaten them to cancel the application since they were keen to process it.
In the late evening a call from MV branch told me they will expedite this case and i told her i remember them saying 7 working days.
Therefore this coming Thursday 27th Nov will be the due date.
Hope by then i will receive a call saying it's approved.

Must approve!

Just got a call today from private number and my application is registered into the system.
hence i called Aeon CC customer service and check through auto teller, it notifies me it is 'IN PROCESS'.
Customer service told me earliest i can get is this Friday and latest in two weeks time.

Hope i get it this week and i can perform BT

I've requested to pick from branch since i travel there frequently.

I thought you provided all the documents to them already.
I went to branch and only provide them my BE form plus with the printed EPF statements from their kiosk.

Didn't know about the RM10 voucher when sign up.
Do you think i can get that voucher when i go collect my cards?

My card already approved, now awaiting for card arrival to MV branch for pickup.

May i know which card earns us point for BT to Aeon?
Is it New Gold card or Watami card?
I'm getting both of it, i might as well BT to just one of the card and earn extra points.

Got both of my card on last Friday.
Unfortunately i totally forgot about the RM10 Aeon voucher upon submitting form and also the watami free dessert voucher.

I wonder if i can claim it back when i go and pick up my Aeon Member card since i got the New Aeon Gold Card.

For new applicant for Aeon Watami RM50 rebate will be waived with 2 swipes.
Is it applicable for New Aeon Gold as well? Because i can't find any clause or link for this.
But i do remember some member in here stating it's the same rebate with Aeon watami

For watami wise, it definitelywritten RM50 rebate for principal, so i guess it's not GST. Anyway as long as i get the RM50 rebate/GST offset, i'm a satisfied customer.

Sad. Unfortunate for me, the sales person whom i applied my Aeon CC with, said that the dessert voucher is 'while stock last'.
Anyway i request them to ask one more time for me, and she will help me ask from HQ.

This one she said only applicable for those applying during Aeon special event.
eg. Aeon member day, Aeon Fiesta, and etc.

Too bad i need the card early to do balance transfer, if not today and tomorrow is Aeon member day in mid valley branch.

Yeah i suspected the inconsistency as well.
That's why i insist for the watami desert voucher, but i don't think the chances to get it high thou.

As for the rm10 voucher, it's a lost cause i suppose.
